THE BEATLES; a set of three signatures, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr.Provenance: Obtained by the vendor 13th September 1963 from the second and final gig at Preston Public Hall. The vendor met the Beatles and knew them in person, they had just started wearing their famous 'Beatles Suits', with collarless jackets and also their famous blue leather Chelsea boots from the well-known 1960s shoe shop Anello & Davide. The vendor was assigned to pick up their new suits for them, she also had to go and buy their food for them during the gig, which was beer and meat pies. Paul McCartney gave her a Peter Stuyvesant cigarette and George Harrison told her she was too young to smoke. The support band was Memphis Three, the lead guitar was Brendan McCormack, a well-known guitarist in the Merseyside area.We have not authenticated these signatures, please satisfy yourself as to the veracity of the item prior to bidding.
