A pair of circa 1900 Sitzendorf table candelabra, five light, four branch on figural decorated columns with floral and foliate encrusted decoration 46.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Item One - basically sound though with some wear and tear conducive with age and use. Minor wear to gilding, some areas of loss - see photograph for example of leaf stalk missing beneath rose.Item Two - two arms, one either side, damaged and repaired in what appears to be a fairly amateur fashion, the filler appearing creamier in colour than the basic white of the piece. Otherwise basically sound though with some areas of loss to leaf edges and flower petal edges - see images for further detail

A Regency Empire style occasional table, the tray top above a single frieze drawer with fitted slide raised on X frame supports united by a turned centre stretcher raised on brass caps and castors 55 cm wide x 36 cm deep x 72 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The item is Regency but in the Empire style. No key present. Appears veneered. Top is badly stained, marked etc, some splitting, also some areas of bulging. Veneers are bulging. There is some patching. Moulding is splitting/gapping in various places. All wood is discoloured. Various areas of veneer missing throughout. Larger chunk missing to the base of one leg. There are holes to the reverse side of the item from the drawer. Some old wormholes, others appear to have had a handle or something on previously together with old patching. Varnishing has crazing throughout. Signs of worm throughout. In need of a good clean. Tray is split both to the base and the edges and is warped. Wear and tear conducive with age and use, in need of a clean - see images for more detail

A rare and important Autograph Music Manuscript (unsigned), written in pen and pencil, being a working copy of Milstein's cadenza for the 3rd movement of Beethoven's Violin Concerto with upwards of 55 bars, headed in Milstein's hand 'Cadenza to the 3rd Movement of Beethoven's, St Louis, Jan[uary] 15 1961', some marks and creases to upper outer corners, 2 pages (opening out to form a large double sheet), 310 x 480 mmQty: (2)Footnote: Included with this item is a photocopy of the programme for when Milstein played Beethoven's Violin Concerto with the St Louis Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Edouard Van Remoortel, on 14-15 January 1961.A transcriber and composer, Milstein arranged many works for violin and wrote his own cadenzas for concertos, including Beethoven’s only work in that genre. Milstein was renowned for his fastidious approach to violin playing; he was apparently obsessed with articulating each note perfectly and would often spend long periods of time working out fingerings which would make passages sound more articulated.

A modern bespoke made large and impressive kitchen dresser with two glazed display cabinets revealing two plate rack shelves and lower recess, on substantial dresser base, with two long drawers and turned circular handles, raised on three ring turned front supports, on square bases united by plank stretchers, in two sections, height of both sections combined 214cm, width 198cm, depth 53cm. CONDITION REPORT The top section rests upon the base and the base could be used as a separate item. Handmade for the vendor by a Lake District cabinet maker, using locally sourced wood. In very good condition, with nothing obvious to detract from it.
