He gained further valuable experience at the Viennese violin company David Bittner. He worked as a foreman at the Viennese company David Bittner. He became independent in 1870 in Hlinsk, in 1875 he moved his plant to Chrudim. The main content of his prosperous Chrudim company was the repair and sale of musical instruments. He worked according to the method of Stradivari, Amati and Stainer.
