A fine quality Christian Dior costume jewelry necklace, signed and dated 1961 CONDITION REPORT: All looks fairly good original condition with no stones/beads found to be missing. No damage noted although because the necklace has been worn the back where the gold plated mounts are has worn a little and upon very close scrutiny some minor oxidisation has taken place. But the item seems to be in good original order.
A fine late-18th/early-19th century oval, mahogany and brass coopered double bottle-carrier with rigid brass carrying handle, 33cm wide x 28.5cm high (to height of handle) CONDITION REPORT: The interior construction appears to be lead lined with two tin compartments (see images). Overall the piece is in generally good original order with some surface scratching and scuffing etc., commensurate with age. The construction looks sound and all of the brassware looks original. Overall a nice original item of good colour. This would probably benefit from a wax polish. Width is 33cm wide x 21cm deep x 22cm high (not including brass handle). We think it will hold magnums.

An early-18th century framed and glazed George III period sampler detailing letters, numerals, stylised trees etc. by Hannah Bower Fulneck and dated 1808; 33.5cm x 29cm CONDITION REPORT: The material is rippling and it looks like some fading has occurred although the item does not appear to be in bad condition. A good Danish rosewood writing desk designed by Kai Kristiansen (Danish, born 1929); free standing model 70, central knee-hole space flanked by three drawers either side, the two top drawers lockable and above one further drawer and one larger drawer below, raised on tapering legs united by stretchers, 172cm wide x 85cm deep x 76cm high, Kristiansen trained as a furniture maker and finished his apprenticeship in 1948. Two years later he was accepted into the Academy of Fine Arts where he studied furniture design under the Architect Kaare Klint. In the mid 1950's, he opened his own design office and throughout his career he worked with many of the leading manufacturers including Fritz Hansen. CONDITION REPORT: The desk is generally very good overall although the top has faded somewhat and also has a flat discolouration mark in the middle towards the edge (see images on the website). There are also one or two ring marks on the top and slight surface scratching but we feel this could be addressed with the minimum of effort by a good restorer. The rest of the piece appears to be darker but in good overall original condition. The back has two cupboard doors and these have lightened also. The legs have very minor scratches and scuffing commensurate with age. Overall the piece appears to be in good original condition except for the colour variations, ring marks and scratches etc., to the top. The item comes with a key.
