A 1956 Norton Model 7 Dominator, registration number 892 YUB, silver and black. Introduced to the general public at the 1948 Earls Court Show, the Model 7 Dominator was Norton's first twin engine motorcycle of the modern post war era. The early versions featured the plunger frame with roadholder front forks. From late 1952 the Dominator acquired the swing arm frame. In 1954 an improved eight inch front brake was fitted and an aluminium cylinder head replaced the old cast iron item. The Model 7 would then remain basically unchanged until 1956 when the featherbed frame Model 88 became available. The Model 7, we have the pleasure in offering for auction, is one of the later versions featuring all of the models later revisions. Restored by the vendor to an extremely high standard and coming from the same stable as the ex Pip Harris Manx combination. ***The Norton will be offered for auction with a written statement from the vendor but no history file***. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations

An 18th century walnut chest of drawers, boxwood strung, with moulded edge above three graduated drawers with brass drop handles, crossbanding and cockbeading, and raised on bracket feet. Width 108 cm. CONDITION REPORT: We believe the top is certainly later as is the inlaid stringing. Although walnut it is very dark almost mahogany and has been repolished throughout. The back does have old boards and in principle the item is 18th century. A small section of moulding to the rear right hand side has been replaced and it is our opinion that the bracket feet are later. However as it currently stands this is a very clean serviceable piece of furniture ready for immediate use.
