[Scottish and colonial interest] A Scottish Old English pattern table spoon by George Fenwick, Edinburgh 1812 (POUCH, tally mark, GF.TOBAGO, four Edinburgh marks, GF), engraved ‘H’, 20cm (8in) long, 71g (2.25 oz). It would appear that George Fenwick II has bought this item of old stock from his father and additionally stamped it for his new market in Tobago. George Fenwick II moved there in September 1821 but his time was sadly short as he died only a few months later.

Infantry Officer’s bell top shako circa 1829-35. A good and rare example. Black beaver body with patent leather crown and peak, two patent leather bands either side in the form of a V. Fitted with replacement circular gilt ear bosses mounted with the Royal Crest support a set of replacement leather backed chin scales. To the crown original wool ball tuft of white over scarlet. Original soft leather sweatband to the interior and with crimson silk panel to the crown. Some age and storage wear, loss of pile to beaver, split to front with repair (would be hidden by plate), also splits to rear panel. The shako retains a good shape and is in firm condition, and would make a suitable exhibition item.

Royal Horse Guards Blues & Royals Officer’s full dress tunic. An Elizabeth II example of dark blue material, with scarlet facings to the cuff and collar, both embroidered with bullion oak leaf and acorns. To the left shoulder the Bullion Imperial Eagle device. and complete with gilt RHG 1D buttons. To the shoulders gold bullion shoulder cords, the right shoulder with aiguillettes terminating with gilt metal tags. The interior with quilted lining and tailor’s label of ‘Rodgers John Jones Ltd of London and first issue date of 1978. The lining with various names. The tunic with service wear, but remains a good display item. Please note now tailored with scarlet gauntlet cuffs, these sporting Victorian RHG buttons and have been crudely stitched and glued to the tunic, and with light mothing.

19th Century Burmese Dha Sword. A good quality example, the slightly curved 24 1/2 inch blade is etched to both sides with warriors and scrip. The hilt of sheet silver with the grip area decorated once again with warriors and picked out in red. The pommel in the form of a dome, with floral decoration. Complete with original wooden scabbard. Overall GC blade in clean condition, some dents to the grip and spme banding absent to the scabbard. .... Accompanied by a post 1916 French Lebel bayonet, with nickel grip. Complete with scabbard.
