An early Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Leica IIf Rangefinder camera in chrome finish, serial number 571059, manufactured 1951-52 (believed to be first year of production), fitted with a Summitar f=5cm 1:2 lens, serial number 796207, manufactured 1950, with lens cap, in fitted leather case CONDITION REPORT:The exterior of the camera shows wear commensurate with age and use throughout. The rangefinder appears to work, but focussing is somewhat stiff. The shutter appears to function, but speeds have not been tested. The Leica lens cap fits well but may be a later addition. When looked at under magnification the lens appears to show some small imperfections.PLEASE NOTE: The camera is untested and we would therefore advise potential bidders to inspect the item and assure themselves of its functionality prior to bidding.

Each apron having two pairs of carved linked circles on square legs with scrolled feet.Provenance: The collection of Bruce Dayton and Ruth Stricker Dayton - Selections from The Marsh, Minnetonka, Minnesota.Height: 33 in x width: 34 1/2 in x depth: 34 1/2 in.Condition: The item is structurally sound and stable. The wood has expanded and the insert is not flush with the frame. Several of the linked circles have been repaired. One half of one of the paired linked circles is missing. No other losses. Light wear throughout consistent with age and use.
Group of three Chinese PRC porcelain food containers decorated with famille rose enamels. From the People Republic of China period, each bearing an artists inscription to back.Height ranges from 3 in to 4 1/4 in; diameter ranges from 9 in to 9 1/2 in.Condition: There are no visible cracks or chips throughout the items, but there is wear throughout. There are minute firing and glazing flaws throughout all three. There are losses to the paint and gilding. There is an area of adhesive residue along the lid, near the filial. There are losses to the footrim on all three, especially the item shown at the top in the listing image. There is wear to the underneath of the footrim on all three and discoloration to two of the footrims, as shown in listing image. No signs of restoration under UV light.

The subject matter generally was used to celebrate a promotion or rise in power.Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985.(Not including stand) Height: 1 1/2 in x width: 2 in x width: 3/4 in. Weight: 38.50 grams.Condition: There are two minute chips along either ear, only visible upon close inspection. Natural inclusion along one of the hind legs. There is a minute chip along one of the hind legs. Light wear throughout. The number 159 is written in pen along the underside of the jade. Light wear to the stand.
Oliver Cromwell' Farthing' struck in white metal a double obverse striking on a thick flan countermarked on one side with a portcullis and the other with two lis the plain edge also countermarked with three lis offered with letters dated 1995 from Spink concerning its authenticity and photographs taken at this time (c.f. S.3230). Generally considered to be a forger's practice piece nevertheless a curious item. Some surface porosity good fine/fair
An early 17th century enamel and rock crystal ring, the central square-cut rock crystal set within a raised square bezel decorated with three indents of pale blue enamel to the outer longer sides, with two indents to the inner sides, the shoulders bifurcated and enamel inlaid, and applied with a gold quatrefoil, the D-shaped hoop with vine scroll pattern inlaid with pale blue enamel., the lower section of the hoop plain and narrowing slightly, diameter 18.6mm. £3,000-£4,000 --- Provenance: This ring was discovered by a metal detectorist near Selbourne in Hampshire in 2022.. It has been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database Ref: SUR-ED1CD5. The ring has been compared in style to another from the Cheapside Hoard found in London in 1912 and dating to the late 16th/early 17th century. According to a PMI test on an XRF Analyzer, the gold purity is testing as 77.95%. Condition Report For an excavated item of jewellery this ring is in exceptional condition with virtually full enamel and a perfect gem setting. Weight 2gm.
