Property of an American lady living in Arizona, USA. Xie Zhiliu, (1910–1997), was a leading traditional painter, calligrapher, and art connoisseur of modern China. He was a prominent member of the Shanghai School of art. His work is in the collection of the National Art Museum of China in Beijing; In 2010, the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York City held an exhibition of around 150 of his works, donated by his daughter to celebrate his 100th birthday. Property of an American lady living in Arizona, USA. Fu Baoshi, (1904-1965), went to Japan to study the History of Oriental Art in the Tokyo School of Fine Arts in 1933. He translated many books from Japanese and carried out his own research. In painting itself, he brought Japanese visual elements to the Chinese ink painting tradition. [No Reserve]

Jin Kun, (1662-1746), was a court painter who was noted for his portraits of members of the Imperial household, as well as other rich patrons. He was also responsible for a small album of twelve leaves illustrating various episodes in Chinese history, and kept in the Imperial Collections. [No Reserve]
