A SILVER CIGARETTE CASE OF CURVED RECTANGULAR SHAPE, Sheffield 1923, makers mark Corke Brothers, London, the hinged cover with engraved foliate decoration with panel inscribed To/C.S.M Brown/from/ROYAL SIGNALS NCD's MESS, lenght 9cm, weight 1.90 troy ounces. This is by repute to be a retirement present to Sergeant Brown who was thought to have served in the Boer War.
