The top having a moulded edge above an intricate parquetry banded frieze, with a small raised panel of carved strap-work to the centre surrounding the keyhole. The parquetry banding continued down the narrow vertical centre panel edged in chip carved moulding and flanked by panels of marquetried flowers cascading from urns.
