A 19th Century Victorian Arts & Crafts sideboard chiffonier oak mirror back sideboard having a stunning carved pointed pediment back with armorial scroll lion mask to the top with carved dentils and twin leaded glazed cabinets having copper handles and backplates held up by detailed carved columns. Central glass panel cabinet over open shelf section flanked by twin cupboard doors. The lower section profusely carved with scrollwork and diamond lozenges. Measures 205cm x 130cm x 49cm

Originally sold with certificate by Dr. Walther Bernt, dated 17 January 1977, attributing the painting to Anthony Jansz. van der Croos.
JAPANESE ARITA FINELY ENAMELLED POLYCHROME CHARGER, depicting Mount Fuji landscape with cranes in flight in a fan shaped panel, the other panel depicting carnations and decorative roundels, on brocade ground with floral cartouches. 46cm diameter approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearing in reasonably good condition. Minor wear in places but no obvious damage, cracks, chips or restoration.
