Guard Pioneer Flamethrower Unit Model 1910 Infantry Officers Tunic, a magnificent and hugely rare model 1910 officers tunic of the Sturm Battalions. Standard infantry officers M.10 with black piped Swedish cuffs, Guard litzen to each cuff with white metal buttons overall. Silver litzen on black base collar patches, red piped with matching Prussian red and black underlay shoulder boards for the rank of Leutnant. Fitted with Iron Cross 1st class convex form, the Baltic Cross and Wound Badge in black and to the right sleeve as the tunic is viewed the most magnificent hand embroidered wire woven skull indicating the Sturm Battalion flamethrower units. One moth hole to the rear panel. Featured on page 6 of Feldzug 17.
Prussian Artillery Regiment 13 Model 1915 Field Grey Tunic, a good service worn tunic, nap of cloth thin overall, standard M.15 configuration, two moth holes on the back panel, apple green collar with faded NCO’s lace, medical patch to the left hand sleeve as the tunic is viewed, standard M.15 artillery red shoulder boards with yellow grenade and Regiment No.13. Unusual striped calico lining, indistinct army group marking, size marking visible, some staining to the lining otherwise excellent.
Souvenir of Solingen German Fighting Knife, overall length 28.5cms in length. Produced for the allied occupation troops after WWI. Bowie style blade with etched panel reading ‘Souvenir of Solingen’ with the German Iron Cross to the centre, composition grips and nickel plated steel hilt with fully functional bayonet retaining button and slot. The blade maker marked ‘Nahkanpfer D.R.G.M.’ in its perfect steel scabbard with belt loop never fitted with a hilt retaining strap.
