A Victorian walnut bookcase cabinet, the astragal glazed three door upper section enclosing adjustable shelving and with bevel edged glass panels, over a fall front secretaire drawer with Ruskin style mottled turquoise panels to the handles and carved foliate decoration, over three further carved panel doors, on a plinth base, 151 cm wide x 48 cm deep x 227 cm high
A circa 1700 style oak hall chair, the carved and slat back over swept open scroll arms on turned supports to the panel seat, on turned and block feet united by stretchers, 60 cm wide x 121 cm high, together with a similar standard chair, 45 cm wide x 88 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Smaller chair: whilst basically sound, there have been several alterations to the chair. The frame appears to have been, at some point, stained with a shellac type substance, mainly worn, though with a slightly reddy colour. Not apparent to the back rail and slats unless viewed from the back. The left feet, front and back, have been repaired - see images for further detail.Larger chair: again, whilst basically sound, there have been areas of damage, repair, restoration etc, seat is split. Two front feet turned sections to base replacements. Rear right foot with replaced bottom section. Top rail appears to have been stained at some point, suggesting that it may be a Victorian replacement, though has a soft feel to it, suggesting more age. There are various splits and knocks and scrapes throughout conducive with age and use - see images for further detail
An 18th Century Welsh oak mule chest, the plain rising top with moulded edge, over a fielded panelled front with twelve panels, over three drawers, on stile supports, 145 cm wide x 60 cm deep x 96 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Over all look of piece is good, however, top has several areas of splitting, particularly middle left and on front part of cover and rear right. Colour of front panel looks good though, upon opening, it appears to have had alterations - hinges certainly later. Moulding to the left hand side of the front edge all missing. There are signs of paint to the rear top edge. Front panels with some areas of dirt/discolouration conducive with age and use. Two left drawers only frontage i.e.dummy drawers now. Only operating drawer bottom right. Stile supports with areas of wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for further detail
A 19th Century French gilt metal cased mantel clock, the eight day movement with circular bleu celeste porcelain and floral banded dial and Roman numerals surmounted by an alcohol thermometer and flanked by a classical maiden with turtle shell lyre and etruscan style pedestal oil lamp raised on a base with bleu celeste and floral panel decoration raised on a moulded giltwood stand under an oval dome on ebonised base. Clock height 45.5 cm, over all height 60 cm high
A circa 1900 French lacquered brass cased carriage clock, the circular matt dial with Arabic numerals within an ivorine frame inscribed to top "To H du C Norris Esq from Lieut Col G Dalrymple White MP and Officers Fourth BG Grenadier Guards in recollection of Basildon Oct & Novr 1914" 14.5 cm high not including handle together with a mid 20th Century Swiza eight day mantle clock CONDITION REPORTS Unknown if working. The carriage clock has some pitting to the brass throughout. The base is moving i.e. as though something is missing from the inside. There are scratch marks to the base. There is wear to the ivorine panel - inscription is mainly gone. There is some chipping to the glass door. Hands move as well as fly wheel. The other clock has pitting and wear to the brass throughout, uinknown if in working order. Hands move. In need of a clean. Missing one screw to the back plate. See images for more details. A Newlyn School copper box by John Pearson, the top with flower head medallion opening to reveal a wooden lined interior over a floral medallion decorated front panel and studded sides, initialled verso and dated 1899 23.8 cm wide x 11.5 cm deep x 7.4 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The piece appears basically sound though there are some wear holes to the front scrollwork showing evidence of previous over polishing. The colour is arguably lighter than it should be. Apparently it was much more polished when the present vendor acquired it but has been left to oxidise over several years giving it a better colour now than when purchased - see images for further detail

A gold plated mourning brooch, the front with a later applied carved cameo shell depicting the head of Bacchus, on a gold plated 19th century mourning brooch, the reverse with picture of a young man, together with a brooch and earring set by 'Cara: Hand Enamelled in Ireland. CONDITION REPORT: The front of the mourning brooch was and still is with panel of woven hair, but later on the carved shell has been fixed to the front.
An early 19th century mourning ring, the small clear panel surrounded by an oval of black stones which continue around the shank, inscription to back 'John Fielding 21st November 1814...', size Q, unmarked. CONDITION REPORT: The rest of the inscription is illegible. The shank is split, so the size is approximate and there is one stone missing to the shank.

JOSEPH FINNEY OF LIVERPOOL; a George III mahogany thirty hour longcase clock, the broken arched pediment above printed linen panel, above 12" square brass dial, the chapter ring set with Roman and Arabic numerals, with applied moulded figures to the corners, centred with subsidiary seconds hand and date aperture, bearing the maker's details to the lower banding, above a shaped door, flanked by reeded quarter pilasters and stepped plinth to squat bracket feet, height 233cm. CONDITION REPORT: The rope has snapped on the movement, although the large weight and the ballast weight are present. There is wear to the inner edge of the pendulum door. The front right bracket foot is missing its outer skin. The moulded panel to the base is also loose.
An early 20th century Vienna porcelain wall plate with six floral vignettes to the puce ground border and central panel decorated with a Classical scene, diameter 30cm. CONDITION REPORT: The plate rings true. It is rather dirty and has a blue printed beehive mark and the number '169' to the reverse. Very light rubbing to the gilding, but overall condition is good.
DOULTON LAMBETH; a stoneware vase decorated by Hannah Barlow, with central panel decorated with a band of sgraffito deer in woodland, within brown and green acanthus leaf and applied flowerhead borders, green mottled interior, stamps to base, 'HB' monogram to base, shape number 243, height 37.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a small chip to the top rim with a hairline fracture to the glaze. Further minor chip to the opposing side of top lip. Minor chip under glaze to foot rim. Crack to glaze through base mark. Light surface scratches to body. Otherwise appears ok with no other obvious signs of faults, restoration or damage.
Two late 19th/early 20th century Bohemian (or possibly St Louis) cut glass crystal tastevins, both of similar cut and gilt pattern, one with gilt to the cut floral bouquets, the other similar pattern is without, both share gilt to the inside and similar loop handles and sizes, both unmarked, height of each 3cm, diameter 13cm, together with a cut glass preserve pot with an extended Greek Key rim border and cut glass knop and lid, also decorated with a Greek Key gilt panel, height approx 12cm (3).Provenance: From the descendants of Andrew Barclay Walker (of Walker Gallery Liverpool), this item has been passed down the generations and is suggested from the family that this is originally from the Andrew Barclay Walker estate.
A large late 18th/early 19th century Japanese bowl, the internal circular panel with carp within a double lined border, the internal side walls with chrysanthemums, leaves and buds, with an upper crosshatched border with panels and flowers, the outer decoration with panels of chrysanthemums and other garden flowers, with floral fill and red line squares, Japanese painted blue mark to base, height 17cm, diameter 37cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: This has been broken in several places. It has been riveted and has a metal side section applied in the 19th century. There are chips, wear marks, as you would expect with age.
A large late 18th/early 19th century Japanese porcelain bowl, the central panel depicting enamelled gilt decoration of pagoda, lakeside, bridges and trees, etc, with a panelled wide border, each with smaller panels of flowers and fauna, blank exterior, unmarked, diameter 38.5cm, height 8cm. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. There may be some slight rim chips on very close examination, but there are no cracks, repairs, etc.
