A Russian white metal overlaid tempera on panel icon, depicting the Virgin Mary and Christ child, 22 x 17.5cm Condition: Looks to date to c.1900 but oklad is not hallmarked or dated, does have a feint inscription across the bottom, silver to the oklad has been pierced and damaged down the left hand margin and is bent out of shape elsewhere, looks to have traces of gilding upon it, paintwork a little scratched with discoloured varnish, velvet backed, no additional frame
A large 19th century Chinese baluster jar and cover, with gilt finial, metal mounted rim and hinged latched lid, decorated with panels of noblemen in interiors, flowers, birds and butterflies, height 62cm diameter 36cmCondition: Light rubbing to the finial, hinge and latch look later, hinge has come apart but just needs a new pin, mount around the rim shows damage to the porcelain beneath but does not show when the lid is in place, one long crack running from the rim to over half way down the side just to the left of the main panel,
A Japanese Meiji lacquer writing box, the lid decorated with five puppies playing in a garden, underside of the lid with bird perched beside a prunus tree, interior with removable tray decorated with bamboo, 23.5. x 21cm, height 4.75cmCondition: Black lacquering to the lid patchy with light surface scratching, bottom edge of lid has been repainted black, looks like it has been broken at some point and overpainted but damage still showing at corners, in fact all four corners of the lid damaged, inside of lid with bird and plant decoration good, within the box the removable tray to the right decorated with bamboo with very small marks to the rim, inkstone panel has clearly been used for some time and shows rubbing to the front edge and has a signature to the underside of the inkstone, small water dropper is gilt bronze modelled a seated goose and a little rubbed to the gilding, inside rim of main box a little worn at the corners, the top edge again shows signs of damage and overpainting with cracks running at the corners.
A pair of 1960's 9ct gold and enamel masonic cufflinks, with engraved monograms, 16mm, gross weight 8.6 grams. Condition: Hallmarks clear. Pale metal blemish on the back of one panel. A few minor scratches and nicks to the enamel on both panels. Minor surface scratches to the gold in general, commensurate with age and some use.
A George III style mahogany bookcase, with two astragal glazed doors over a fall front drawer and panelled doors, W.127cm D.62cm H.226cm Condition: Probably a marriage although the upper bookcase section is of similar age to the base, cornice has been reduced in height, top doors have original key and working lot, the bookcase top comes with three original adjustable shelves, a few short splits and minor surface wear commensurate with age to the base, the fall front drawer looks to be original but has lost all of its original internal fittings, replacement handles, a fine split running from the left side to the left side of the left handle, original lock with working key, base cupboards with old probably later lock, not working with the key, left centre of the left door has had some old patched replacements where the door has been forced at some point in its history, some radial cracks running through the grain of the panel of the left door, sides and feet with minor dents and scuffs commensurate with age. Overall of good colour but in need of internal restoration.

A pair of Chinese Export porcelain tankards, Qing Dynasty, early 19th century, decorated in underglaze blue and famille rose with a panel of figures in a garden, inside scrolling borders, four landscape reserves either side of each handle, each 11 by 16 by 13.5cm. (2)Condition: both tankards are damaged. One has been heavily restored as there has been a large brake to one side with the repaired cracks still visible. The other tankard has chips to it top and bottom rims as well as some damage to its handle.
