A fine Faberge Russian guilloche enamel vesta case, early 20th century, of gently curved oval cross-section, decorated allover with rows of light lilac guilloche enamel and thiner rows of white enamel separated by rows of silver, the hinged lid with raised thumb grip set graduated rose cut diamonds, match striker to one end, the interior having national 1896-1907 88 zolotnik mark (fineness .916 2/3), the assayer mark being indistinct, makers mark BC (unidentified) and Faberge in cyrillic script. height 1.4 cm x width 4.8 cm x 3.3 cm. CONDITION REPORT Appears to be in overall good condition, with very minor wear to the gilding.
An 18th Century Arched Brass Dial Lantern Clock, signed Frans Wells, London, circa 1760, 9-3/4-inch arched brass dial, arch with silvered plaque signed, side pierced frets and opening doors, hoop and spikes, anchor escapement, striking on a top mounted bell, 37cm high 08.12.17, Dial and movement look clean, side doors and back panel are later, alarm work missing, with pendulum and weight.
