A fine Faberge Russian guilloche enamel vesta case, early 20th century, of gently curved oval cross-section, decorated allover with rows of light lilac guilloche enamel and thiner rows of white enamel separated by rows of silver, the hinged lid with raised thumb grip set graduated rose cut diamonds, match striker to one end, the interior having national 1896-1907 88 zolotnik mark (fineness .916 2/3), the assayer mark being indistinct, makers mark BC (unidentified) and Faberge in cyrillic script. height 1.4 cm x width 4.8 cm x 3.3 cm. (33.6g)Condition; lose of enamel to three of four side panel corners and to the lid at rear corners (see images)
