1960s/70s London Underground enamel PLATFORM FRIEZE PANEL from the Northern City Line platforms at Essex Road station. Opened in 1904 by the Great City & Northern Rlwy, Essex Road was part of the Underground from 1933-1975 when it was transferred to British Rail. Today is it operated by Great Northern. Measures 43" x 9" (109cm x 23cm). An excellent example with just very minor blemishes. [1]

Macdonald and Muir went on to acquire the Glenmorangie whisky company in 1918 (adopting the Glenmorangie name in the process), and their offices are still located in Edinburgh today. ¦¦Condition fair, slight split to seat panel with later support and to underneath one is missing a repair to back right leg. A blue and white Dutch Delft 'The Good Samaritan' tile mural, Makkum, Friesland, 18th C.Dim.: 91,5 cm x 91,5 cmThis large tile mural was one of the focal points of the Harlinger Pottery museum. It is painted by Adam Sijbel, generally seen as one of the leading, if not the very best pottery painter of his time in Friesland. He worked at the Kingma workshop in Makkum, a city still famous today for its production of Dutch Delft pottery.The scene depicted combines two biblical stories, namely Luke 10:31 and Luke 10:33.
