The first of rectangular form, with flowering peony flanked by two butterflies in shades of blue and cream, on a brown silk ground and brocaded border, framed and glazed, 41cm x 36.5cm exc. frame, the other of circular form, with a large Lion Dog and two smaller amonmhst precious objects, butterflies and a moon with character mark, on an orange silk ground, within floral and foliate border, framed and glazed, 31.5cm diam. exc. frameThe rectangular panel has small areas which are slightly worn and threadbare to the brown ground, similar areas of discolouration to brown ground, some minor loose threads. The circular panel with some very minor staining, minor loose threads.

Depicting a trio of displayed items to include a tasselled ruyi sceptre with coral and seed pearls, an archaic type bronze vase displaying flowers on a wooden stand and a suspended Huang, chime of ruyi form in a wooden frame. Framed and glazed in a carved and pierced wood frame. 78cm x 42cm Minor staining or foxing around the lower section. Otherwise in good decorative condition. Holes and tears to paper backing.

AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY CHINESE EMBROIDERED ORANGE SILK SKIRT, A RED SILK EMROIDERED CHAIR COVERING A PAIR OF SMALL EMBROIDERED PANELS AND A LATER 20TH CENTURY EMBROIDERED SILK PANEL. The pleated skirt fragment with coloured silk and gilt thread panels of bats, peony and flowering prunus, within green ribbon, blue and purple edged borders, the red ground chair covering with a peacock, birds, deer, bats, crane, a kylin and an eagle, amongst rockwork and flowers; a 20th century embroidered cream silk panel with a bird amongst flowering peony and prunus, within brocaded border and a pair of embroidered silk and gilt thread panels depicting ladies before terracing, mounted on paperThe skirt is approx. half of the original size and has some water marks and slight staining to orange ground, it has a later Manchester Cotton waistband, the cotton waistband has some staining, some tearing and losses to edges and lining, some minor loose threads. The red silk chair covering with some tears and losses at the edge and centre, also affecting the blue silk backing, some loose threads. The 20th century panel is in good order, the two small panels later mounted on annotated paper, with some small areas of loose threads and gold thread.

The panel decorated with two figures in landscape scene within a key fret border mounted in a gilt wood and glazed frame; Together with a bamboo brush pot carved in relief with figure on buffalo with inscription. With moulded central burr panel to top above carved dragon and cloud frieze, raised on five scroll mythical beast legs joined by X-frame stretchers, on claw and ball feet, 81cm diam. x H38.5cmOne leg cracked and repaired with modern screw, several old repairs, gluing and in-filling to stretchers and around leg joints where some separation has occurred, minor scratching and wear to top and minor surface wear overall.

Of shaped rectangular scroll-edged form, with a seven section adjustable rack, decorated with scrolling tendrils, reserved against a ground gilt with fruits, mons and figures in discussion, suspended for hanging, 41.5cm high In good overall order, there is some minor chipping at edges to lacquer and minor wear to gilding, the reverse has been pierced with three holes at a later date for suspension although these do not go all of the way through the back panel. Some minor cracking to black lacquer at reverse.

A group of three 19th-century seal fobs; including a rock crystal three-sided swivel fob seal, one of the sides engraved with an intaglio depicting a bust of Selene, the second panel depicting ivy vine entwined around a tree stump, along with 'Je Meurs Ou Je M'Attache' (I die where I attach myself), the last panel centred with the crest of Earl Ligonier, a demi-lion rampant, along with motto 'Quo Fata Vocant' (Whither the fates call); with another three-sided swivel fob seal in smoky quartz, engraved with initials of Lady Davy (Jane Davy), to a gilt foliate mount; lastly comprising a faceted and stylised rock crystal with applied decorations and garnet accents, the oval seal engraved with initials AEF (?) on an oval cartouche suspending from a ribbon and elaborated floral garlands. (3)There are multiple chips and nibbles on the rock crystal swivel fob seal; smoky quartz fob seal in great condition considering age; the rock crystal and garnet seal has gemstone missing and damage in mount.

All samples kept in the factories archive until they decided to dispose of them and the vendor saved them from being disposed himself.All dating to around (circa) 1950s/60s and this lot includes; Floral designs include a Wrights Biscuits "Floral" signed and dated (19)64, a Carrs "Bluebird" floral design dated (19)66, a fantastic design of a corner cupboard with cypher to reverse of Hudson Scott & Sons, marked design no. 2025, a "Kingfisher" vibrant bird design, a gold coloured sample panel, with Hudson Scott cypher and pattern no. T4379 to reverse, a Brooke Bond "Terrace" figural design, no. TM14936, an Art Deco/Nouveau style "Teapots" designed panel with vibrant coloured border, the writing being in the Mackintosh style, a Fashion plate board grey design with lady to centre, signed F.H. Steel and no. TS4684, a floral designed C.W.S Ltd 2LB "Roses" design, a Gray Dunn, Canadian Centennial, no. T1720, with some other similar designs.Most have original script from designers and pattern numbers under designs. Some painted, printed, made and sketched.
