A MID-19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY EIGHT-DAY LONG CASE CLOCK having a broken swan-neck pediment^ arched glazed hood door and turned columns^ the short shaped trunk door with central oval veneered panel within banding^ over a small conforming panel and base^ with turned columns to each side^ the arch of the dial painted with a rolling moon phase mechanism and hemispheres^ the chapter ring with Roman hours^ a subsidiary seconds dial^ crescent form date aperture^ winding holes and maker`s name Edward Telford^ Carlisle^ all enclosed by foliate spandrels^ the striking movement with weights and pendulum. 230cm(h) Pediment missing finial with depletion to finial housing^ fading marks and scratches^ some wear and discolouration to dial.
AN 18TH CENTURY OAK FOUR PANEL COFFER having an oblong panelled top with incised rails and external iron strap hinges^ the frieze later carved with initials IDE and date 1671 either side of the lock aperture^ the incised stile ends extending as feet^ the reverse also panelled. 76cm(h) x 143cm(w) x 57cm(d) Later carving^ replacement lock^ old lock aperture filled^ splits^ depletions and deterioration commensurate with age and use^ viewing advised.

A GEORGE III OAK GENTLEMAN`S PRESS CUPBOARD having a moulded cornice with dentil detail^ a mahogany inlaid frieze with central slender crossbanded panel door (enclosing shelving) and two short drawers flanked by larger conforming cupboard doors with internal hanging space and rails^ all between reeded quarter columns^ the lower stage having four short^ three medium and two long cockbeaded and crossbanded drawers^ each with shaped brass back plates and bale handles^ between canted corners^ raised on ogee bracket feet. 216cm(h) x 180cm(w) x 54cm(d) Appears to have been restored^ replacement handles^ the interior with modern wood effect lining^ moulding depletions^ splits^ marks and scratches^ viewing advised.

A REPRODUCTION OAK THREE-PANEL COFFER having a triple-panelled rectangular top on iron-strap hinges^ a rosette and shell carved frieze with central panel carved with a shield-form crest in strap-work^ flanked by guilloche carved muntins and further carved panels^ the extending stiles carved with interlaced designs^ the base rail as the frieze. 72cm(h) x 106cm(w) x 65cm(d) Some movement to top^ some separation to upper front corner joints^ minor marks^ scratches and depletions.
