Carolyn Mulholland, R.H.A. (born 1944)A small bronze, "Standing Figure of Female Nude," on a base with unusual mosaic enamelling, approx. 17cms (7") high overall. (1)* Carolyn Mulholland was born in Lurgan Co. Armagh, studied at the Belfast College of Art and was awarded the Ulster Arts Club Prize for Sculpture in 1965.Some of her noted commissions include a Life Size Bronze Sculpture for the Famine Memorial Graveyard in Clones, Co. Monaghan, and a large bronze Panel for the Customs House in Dublin.
An exquisite early 19th Century demi-lune satinwood Side Table, the segmented top with a herringbone border surrounding multiple bands of inlay, the central panel with fan design and floral swags above an apron with three rectangular panels decorated with Adams love knot and floral drapes, on four inlaid square tapering legs, approx. 127cms wide x 86cms high (50" x 34").
