Thomas Smythe (British 1825-1926)/Figures and Cart outside a Country Cottage/Horse drawn cart in the snow/ a pair, oil on panel, 23cm x 36cm CONDITION REPORT: Both panels are slightly bowed and therefore no longer fitting properly in the frame. Slightly yellowed appearance, otherwise condition appears fair. Both frames have losses, marks, cracks and knocks. Agnews labels verso.
A Worcester (Barr, Flight & Barr) two-handled vase, cover and stand, circa 1815, printed and impressed marks, painted with a study of shells, reserved on a salmon coloured ground gilt with oak leaves and rosettes, 17cm high (the vase and cover cracked and restored)/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: The cover is restored to the point and stem of the finial and to a section of rim. The vase has been cracked in a 'V' shape from handle to handle and under the front shell panel (the painting is intact and original). It has been bonded and concealed to the interior (now yellowing). One handle had been restored. The stand without damage.
Thomas Smythe (British 1825-1926)/Plough Horses in Snow/Plough Team Drinking from a Brook/a pair/signed/tondo,oil on panel, 35.5cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: Rectangular panels have warped considerably and are loose in their frames. At some point, an attempt has been made to straighten them out, causing a crack across the centre of each painting, and a baton has been attached to the back. Visual appearance of the paintings is fair. Some marks and blobs of spilt liquid.

A Regency mahogany linen press, fitted sliding trays enclosed by a pair of fielded panel doors, with two short and two long drawers beneath, on bracket feet, 137cm wide/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: The slides are lined in oak. The cornice with moulding missing in places, top with split to right hand side, base with split to left hand side. Base to the right has a nasty gouge and noticeable scratches, left hand door lower lock loose, fielded panels with some missing moulding, replacement handles.

Gilt borders also slightly rubbed. But overall in reasonably good condition.
