Group of 18th century Worcester, including a plate, circa 1765-70, painted with a phoenix and dragon pattern in the Kakiemon style, a Queen's pattern teapot stand, tea bowl and saucer, a turquoise ground saucer with floral sprays, a fan-panel tea bowl and saucer on a wet blue ground, a fluted blue and gilt cup with bird to the interior, together with a Philip Christian sparrow beak jug and a Chinese famille rose coffee cup (10)Phoenix and dragon plate stapled. One tea bowl with hairline. Teapot stand with repair. Otherwise good condition with a few small chips.
18th century mahogany cased bracket clock with arched gilt and silvered dial signed William Robins, London, strike/silent to arch and date aperture, rococo spandrels, fusée movement with engraved scrollwork to back plate, striking on bell in mahogany veneered case with caddy top on bracket feet, 44cm high, key and pendulum presentGood condition, does run but strikes out of sequence and not tested for timekeeping. The movement appears to be in good restored condition. The case has some damage to the tracery on one side panel and a crack to the glass panel behind it. There is evidence that the case originally had some urn finials to the top corners and may have had a carrying handle at the top, the holes for which have been covered up with a small fillet of mahogany. The front left hand bracket foot is bent out of shape
Fine Regency satinwood balloon form bracket clock signed Tregent, Strand, London with painted circular dial, twin fusée movement with signed and floral swag engraved back plate striking on bell, in fine string inlaid satinwood case with gilt ball surmount, Prince of Wales feather crest marquetry panel raised on gilt brass bracket feet, 54.5cm high, sold with pendulum and keyGeneral overall condition good, movement is clean and appears to be in working order, although we have not had it running, dial is reasonable, some damage to surface around winding holes and outer edge, numerals worn in places, bezel is worn and tarnished. Case is quite good, some minor scratching, veneer cracking and missing in places. Rear door veneer is damaged near key hole and has a piece missing at left hand lower corner, lower hinge is exposed, woodwork under base has been repaired. No keys to front or rear doors. A Louis XIII walnut buffet à deux corps, 17th century, with carved panel doors and gadrooned detail, raised on bun feet,168cm wide66cm deep209cm highCondition ReportLot 217 General knocks, surface wear, chips, losses, splits, scratches, and repairs throughout, commensurate with age and use. Evidence of historic woodworm damage throughout, which does not appear active. The interior has been later adapted with shelves, and now the upper section has had its shelves removed and replaced with a modern hanging rail. The lower section is present with shelves, showing general wear. Three keys are present, and the locks are functional. Hinges are good, backboards appear replaced, joints are sound and solid, and overall, the piece appears in good usable condition with historic wear and restorations.

The joins in the boards have been reinforced verso. The joins are visible at the front in places but appear stable. Craquelure in places with minor losses, surface scuffs and scratches. May benefit from a light clean. Examined under UV light restoration is visible to the joins. Further spots of retouching fluoresce throughout with larger areas of overpainting visible in the upper right and lower half. A thick layer of varnish has been applied and may obscure further restoration. Please see additional condition images.
A Karelian birch commode, c.1830, Continental, with a drawer and cupboards, on shaped bracket feet, 120cm wide 44cm deep 94cm high Condition ReportOne key present. The overall colour is good and even. There are signs of old wood worm in many of the panels, which appears to have been present in the timber before construction. There is a small loss of timber to the back right lower plinth panel, there is also some timber shrinkage between the panels of the doors and sides and the centre moulding between the doors is a replacement. Joints sound and solid. Drawer and doors functioning well. Overall presents in good structural and cosmetic condition and is ready to place.
