Early 20th century Chinese screen, the central embroidered panel depicting birds amongst flowering branches, the frame and support inlaid with mother of pearl decoration on lion dog supports, 72cm x 53.5ccm CONDITION REPORT: Frame - Joints at top left and bottom right are apart by about 4-6mm. Frame as a whole rather scuffed, dirty and slightly scratched. Bottom apron slightly loose but alright Inlay appears complete apart from seven small missing circles of mother of pearl. Lion dog supports - one is slightly nibbled at front paws. Stitching of embroidery is good. Background silk is slightly mottled colour, surface is slightly scraped on the right hand side. Back of screen has bracing at four corner joints on back, bottom apron is slightly loose, natural hole at back of apron with crack coming from it. Back leg of one lion dog is broken off. Calligraphy at back of wood.
Chinese hardwood and pierced shelf top with painted peach and scrolling prunus frieze border, the deep apron well carved with a pair of dragons confronting a shaped panel of figures amongst clouds, 36cm wide x 198cm, 35cm deep CONDITION REPORT: No 'bead-in-string'. No distinct grain. Heavy dense and dark timber. Top rail is loose and secured with cable tie. Signed or characters carved on frieze. Some cracking around edge of top surface panel. Underside lacking sections.
Chinese late 19th or early 20th century padouk wood table of rectangular form on a deep carved, pierced and mother of pearl inlaid apron, raised on square supports, 52cm x 98cm, 95cm high CONDITION REPORT: Good patina to surface but slightly lighter to right hand corner. Two old cracks to surface centre panel left. Two slight cracks going right from left hand corner joint and small repaired area. Slight lengthways crack on left hand side. Scratching and one central crack c4cm. Centre panel not loose. Whole piece is steady and sound. Back panel is uncarved and legs are not inlaid. Front right joint is slightly out of the joint c5-7mm. Leg very slightly sitting forward. RIght side carving and inlay good. Front panel - both side apron panels out of joint, dropped 6-8mm and also top apron panel, few minor losses to mother of pearl, one petal missing from carved apron right hand side. Left side panel - one block (to ecure carved apron to leg) is missing but all carving is complete and other side is out of joint c6-8mm. One small mother of pearl inlay missing. Legs scuffed towards bases.
Vizagapatam sewing box, the sandlewood box decorated with ivory and inked detail, lidded box compartments and thread holders with sectioned area below and single frieze drawer, lion ring handles and key, 21cm x 28,5cm CONDITION REPORT: Hinged lid missing two side sections. Ivory panels on sides parting from box. Panel of ivory on rear of box with hairline cracks. Fitted interior mostly complete, tape measure missing from case, missing a thread bobbin.
Early 20th century Chinese century three panel screen, the hardwood frame inlaid with mother of pearl scrolling flowers, each panel with a central and smaller lower embroidered panel depicting birds amongst flowers, pierced and carved surmounts and shi-shi supports, 125cm x 113cm CONDITION REPORT: The backs to the screen are wood, there is painted text on one of them. Hooks and eyes for joining panels are present, slightly loose. two iron dog feet are present, both have slight cut-outs to their backs and rather dry. Centre panel - embroidery, background silk has slightly mottled look to it, otherwise stitching looks pretty good condition. Frame looks in pretty good but rather dry condition, top panel slightly loose but appears pretty good condition - it slots into top of panel. Some tiny losses to inlay and several small inlaid circles missing. Side panel 1 - a few slight marks to cream ground of silk, two slightly more prominent marks, bottom panel slightly watermarked. Some tiny losses to inlay and missing two flower head and four leaves. Top section slightly wobbly/loose, four inlaid circles of mother of pearl missing. Side panel 2 - condition of embroidery similar to side panel, but slightly better condition, one flowerhead inlay missing, four small inlaid circles of mother of pearl missing.
Early 20th century Chinese porcelain panel in a wooden frame, enamelled with a scene of three figures under a tree, suspension hook, 40cm x 30cm CONDITION REPORT: Frame rather dry, pale in areas, crack at top right corner, below panel, above panel and both sides, rear slip frame. Heavily restored in top right hand corner of porcelain, reaching to the Lenci. Some slight paint losses.

CONDITION REPORT: Several glaze losses to the rim of the dish. Fritting visible throughout. Approx 5/6 chips to the rim, chip size ranging approx 0.3cm - 1cm in size. Scuffing and wear to foot rim.

CONDITION REPORT: Minor fading and spill damage to back central panel. Minor chip at bottom of left hand back panel. Minor wear to the front of the top of the desk. Minor chip 1 inch long to knee hole on left hand side. Very minor fading to front of desk.

A late 19th Century coromandel stationary box The domed topped rectangular box applied with porcelain jasperware plaque, adorned with brass fretwork the box further applied with ropework swags, the hinged cover revealing satin interior and various letter compartments, retailers mark Philipson & Golder, Chester, 16cm x 22cm x 22cm. CONDITION REPORT: No key. Jasperware panel - grubby only. Hinges good. Interior lacking division slides, otherwise only minor staining to interior. Section of veneer on inside edge of hinged top is loose. Loss of veneer (approx 3 inches) on the back of the box just below the left hand hinge. Veneer also repaired on back at base of box, veneer damage on left hand side at base. Some minor water damage.

An 18th / 19th Century oak dresser base The rectangular top above three frieze drawers each with brass droplet handles over three invert moulded panelled doors, raised on shaped bracket feet, 169cms x 86cms x 49 cms. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1358 - Top Water stain and nail rust marks , 85cms crack to top two further 30/32cms cracks, back 5cm strip different colour/repair. Front - handles not originals. Locks to doors missing, the two doors with cracked panels, loos hinges, worn turn marks to internal bottom pine boards with cracks and holes. Drawers with oak sides and pine bottoms, some old worm holes to pine bottoms. Left side - splits to bottom panel, bottom moulding legs repaired.. Right side - as left side. Back - repaired with hard board and later timber.

Condition report - Lot 430 - this is painted on 3 ply. Through the thinly applied paint one can see the grains, . There is minor splitting of the upper plywood layer. We have partially removed a modern card backing and an indistinct inscription can be seen.
