A carved coral Medusa brooch, damage to one wing, a pair of Victorian coral drop earrings, with a central coral bouton to three articulated bead drops, each culminating in a carved pippin drop, one post deficient, a silver and gold coral brooch, with a large coral bouton to the top bar, coral beads on wire to each side with a coral bouton at each end with a gold bead surround, a pierced scrollwork panel below with black enamel decoration to coral bead drops, together with a matching pendant (qty.)
Five 19th century silver vinaigrettes, one by Cocks & Bettridge, Birmingham 1810, the cover engraved with seaweed within an oval panel with a prick dot background, 2.75cm long, another possibly by William Edwards, London 1813, with linear and prick dot decoration surrounding a central wreath cartouche, 2.25cm long, with ring attachment, both with drilled gilt grilles, another with foliate bordered cover, by Joseph Willmore, date letter unclear, 2.25cm long, with ring attachment, together with one by Thomas Shaw, Birmingham 1831, the cover engraved with geometric motifs, 2.5cm long, Both with gilt grilles pierced and engraved with scrolls, and finally one by D & M, Birmingham 1876, of shaped rectangular form engraved with a lozenge flanked by leaves and centred with a scroll cartouche, the gilt grille pierced and engraved with two flower heads, 2.75cm long, with ring attachment (5)
A rare pair of creamware Wedgwood & Co. Bough Pots, of triangular bombe form, well painted with maroon landscapes attributed to Fidelle Duvivier, blue line rims, impressed Wedgwood & Co, both restored, 15.8cm (2). One panel is illustrated in C&P, p.75 and on p. 73 Dr Holdaway ventures that these, and the following two lots `were painted after Duvivier left New Hall in about 1790 and early in Ralph Wedgwood`s potting career`.
