A late 19th century oak 'Wainscot' style open armchair, arched cresting carved with a stylised floral lunette, the back panel carved with a portrait of Geoffrey Chaucer, flanked by spirally-turned supports, downswept arms terminating in dragon hand rests, panel seat, turned and blocked forelegs, turned forefeet, 127cm high, 61cm wide, the seat 46cm wide and 41cm deep
18th Century 8 day oak cased longcase clock marked Jos Dean of Birkenshaw, having later carved oak case with broken swan neck hood above arched aperture flanked by reeded columns, carved and moulded foliate waist door on a carved and moulded panel base with bracket feet. Arch brass face with rolling moon, Roman and Arabic numerals, foliate spandrels and subsidiary seconds dial. Face is 17 x 12cm approx. 8 day two train movement with baluster pillars, striking on one bell. Overall 235cm tall approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Silvering from the face is worn. May be a marriage of movement and face as holes in face are drilled through engraved decoration. The case later carved - deeply and heavily in the 19th Century.
19th Century eight day Longcase clock by George Lumsden of Pittenweem (Scotland), the oak case with arched hood flanking arched aperture with reeded pillasters, arch waist door flanked by reeded quarter columns on a plain panel base with bracket feet, arch painted face with Roman numerals and two subsidiary dials, the face 18 x 13" approx. 8 day two train movement with baluster columns striking on one bell. (B.P. 21% + VAT) The hood lacks its original finials. The case overall is not in bad condition. Panel to the base is showing splits in places. Includes two weights and pendulum.
Art Deco design Mappin & Webb silver cigarette case with engine turned decoration and central vacant cartouche, standing on geometric stepped feet. London 1947, impressed marks to base, 19 x 10 x 6cm approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Good condition overall, minor dink to one side panel. Hallmarks rubbed in places.
19th Century North Wales mahogany and oak 8 day longcase clock, the case with broken arched pediment to the hood, above arch aperture flanked by fluted columns, cross banded and moulded waist door flanked by similar fluted columns with cross banded panel to the base, lacking original feet. Painted arched face with rolling moon and Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture, marked R Rogers, Brymbo. Face 19 x 13.5 approx. 8 day two train movement with baluster pillars striking on one bell. Overall 225cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Face appears to have been touched in, a little worn in places. Case lacks its original feet. Includes pendulum and two weights. Some wear and tear and staining commensurate with age. Panel to base has splits.
Early 20th Century table top three drawer haberdashery cabinet, marked 'Morris & Yeomans Needles', 39 x 30 x 27cm approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Probably replacement handles, these appearing bakelite. Significant loss to mouldings to the right hand side panel at the top. Labels in good condition and very clear. Minor wear and tear commensurate with age otherwise.
18th Century English oak panel backed settle, the moulded top above five mahogany cross banded panels, scroll shaped open arms with cabriole type front legs, the seat now solid with made to measure fitted cushion. 183 x 59 x 109cm (W x D x H) approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Loss to top edge of back and split on opposite side. Wear to one of the arms, basically sound with good colour and patination.
Late 17th century oak coffer, the moulded top above three fielded panels of square form, standing on style feet and having iron carrying handles to each side panel. Carved MM 1692. 121 x 52 x 75cm approximately.(B.P. 21% + VAT) Shrinkage split to the top with the usual losses, marks, stains, etc. General wear and losses in places commensurate with age.
An oriental stained wooden trunk, the front panel painted with immortals amongst buildings, having metal carrying handles and floral decoration to the side panels. 73 x 46 x 34cm approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Rather worn and grubby in places. Splits to the top and the sides. Some losses to mouldings, especially to the edges. Very well used condition.

Noticeable split to the top panel. Bottom drawer appears to have new pine interior and some losses to mouldings in places.

A papier mache writing slope, of rectangular form with shaped border raised on compressed bracket feet, the cover decorated with hand painted flowers with mother of pearl inlay and gilt highlights, opening to reveal four-compartment red velvet interior, 31cm x 25cm, together with a case pair of EPNS fish servers (2) CONDITION REPORT:Writing slope: shows extensive crazing to the lacquered finish of the top and cracking, staining and wear to the central mother of pearl inlay. The area around the lock shows losses and repairs. The back right foot is detached but present. The remaining feet show losses. The right hand hinge is loose. The gilt highlights are rubbed throughout. The velvet panel shows wear and fraying to the edges. The gilt highlights are extensively rubbed throughout.Fish servers: The bone handles show yellowing with build ups of dirt and possible staining around the EPNS mounts. The case shows wear, repairs and losses to the exterior, and dirt in the pleated details and satin lining of the interior.

A French Belle Epoque brass three piece bedroom suite, comprising; a dressing table with a shaped mirror raised upon supports cast as mythical winged beasts, extending to candle sconces, above a fabric lined surface and two frieze drawers, raised upon legs of square section, overall applied with scrolling foliate detail and spandrels, 132cm H x 90cm W x 40cm D, along with a conforming glazed bedside cupboard, overlaid with swag detail, 79cm H x 44cm W x 32cm D, and a brass double bed, the open work head board centred with a cast vase of blooms below leafy swags, upon vertical rails with conforming foliate scroll detail, 140cm W (3)Condition reportDressing table, mirror and supports are possibly associated, some stains to the fabric on the top with a slight warp in the top board.Both drawers feel 'tight', with some minor play in the cross stretcher and leg joints.Bedside cabinet, has stains to the top fabric, some play in the glass panel fittings, little or no play in the joints. Bed has no visible or noticeable faults, all items have a degree of tarnishing with some excess polish deposits.

An Edwardian 18ct gold knot design ring, marks for Chester 1908, size O ½, together with a late Victorian 18ct gold braided ring, marks for Chester 1900, size L ½, weight of group 9.3gms (2)CR; Knot ring: Several dings and dents to the knot shaped head. The ring does appear to have been misshapen or stretched, as the knot looks slightly pulled and the shoulders differ - one side is split and the other is not (see pictures). There is also moderate misshaping to the shank. There is scratching and wear to the ring overall, but no signs of repair. Hallmarks are heavily worn.Braided example: There is a beaded detail missing on the central braided panel of the ring. There is general scratching and wear commensurate with age and use to the head and shank - the bead work in particular seems to have been dented and flattened overtime. There is no obvious signs of splitting, damage or repair to any part of the ring.
