A Copeland late Spode Greek series soup tureen and cover made for the Drapers Company, of oval shape on a broad foot, with moulded ram's head handles and recumbent ram knop, printed overall in blue with the usual border design of vases and classical figure panels and the cover with a central panel of four animals, both body and cover with cut-outs containing the company's full arms with supporters, crest, and motto "Unto God Only Be Honour and Glory", overall length 37.7cm, printed "Copeland / late Spode" marks and impressed crown on base, circa 1847-67 (very small chip to edge of ladle hole on cover). Note that this tureen shape normally has loop handles and knop, replaced on this example by moulded designs possibly specially commissioned to reflect the Drapers Company's armorial crest
A garniture of three Derby (Robert Bloor) bough-pots and pierced liners, of one large and two smaller flanking bough-pots of bombe form, with gilt leaf-scroll handles, scroll feet and with pierced liners, each painted in the manner of Edwin Steele with rectangular panel of bouquets of flowers with elaborate gilt borders, 21cm & 18cm in length, iron-red printed marks, circa 1830 (some areas of enamel flaking)
A "Sevres" Gilt Metal Mounted Blue-Ground Porcelain Jewel Box of cylindrical shape, the hinged cover with central circular panel painted with Watteauesque lovers within a silver border overpainted with floral clusters, enclosing a deep buttoned blue silk interior, the box with shaped flower painted panel, the two handles and four feet simulating cord loops. Incised 733/1. Diameter 5". Height 5".
A Fine Regency Rosewood Fold Over Card Table in the Gillows style. The top inlaid with brass fleur-de-lys to the rounded corners, and scroll-ended stringing to the border, with further stringing enhancing the edges, folding over to display the green baize playing surface. The frieze having a long moulded breakfront panel edged in gilt metal tongue & dart beading, the upswept ends embellished with scrolls of brass inlaid acanthus with small turned roundels applied to the terminals. Standing 36 ins (91 cms) wide on a square tapering column with recessed panel sides edged in decoratively cast beading and a rectangular platform raised on four reeded sabre legs headed by carved palm leaves and terminating on brass lion paw feet and castors.
