William IV mahogany side cabinet, rectangular top, cross banded in rosewood with gradoon moulded edge, two cupboard doors with brass astragal each with single panel recess decorated with bobbin moulding. Each side with rope twist column all standing on turned legs, interior with two adjustable shelves. 104cm (41in) wide. Condition report: Good ready to use.
Early 19th century mahogany side cabinet, top section with two shelf bookcase, flanking central cupboard, frieze drawer with hinged front above two single panel doors, standing on turned feet, width 76cm (30"), depth 38cm (15"), height 127cm (50"). Condition report: Overall the condition is fair although would benefit from localised restoration replacing various small pieces of veneer which are missing, escutcheons missing to doors, interior to base now fitted with modern three drawer cutlery storage canteen.
Early 17th century oak joint chest, two plank top with wire work hinges, three panel front carved with rosettes, interior with lidded candle box, early replacement steel lock, width 124cm (49"), depth 51cm (20"), height 29cm (27"). Condition report: For a piece of furniture of this age, the condition overall is good, ring watermarks to top, replacement lock although this is an early steel cut type.
Late 19th century ebonised vitrine, circular hinged top with etched glazed panel covering buttoned silk lined interior, gilt metal mounts to scallop shaped frieze turned column support with three scroll legs, diameter 36cm (14"), height 82cm (32"). Condition report: Sections of metal beading missing, interior fabric faded and frayed.
L. Obit, 19th century, Russian School, Snow scenes with figures and sleighs, both signed, a pair, oil on panel, 20 x 14cm.; 8 x 5.5in (2). This lot is subject to VAT. Condition Report: The paintings are in good, original condition with no obvious faults to report. There is some yellowing of the varnish across the paintings and areas of paint loss visible around the edge of the panels where the paintings have slipped in their frames. The paintings are both framed but not glazed.
