A vintage wooden Lyons Maid cinema usherette's ice cream tray in used condition with original strap and fixings. Thought to date from the late 50s and one of the first to carry the Lyons Maid lozenge logo following the re-branding from Lyons Ice Cream, the tray carries Lyons Maid signage to three of the sides and has a green felt backing panel to the rear. The tray also features a retrofitted removable illuminated insert panel advertising a range of Lyons Maid products. The basic tray does not appear to have been modified to accommodate removable insert. Approx dimensions of tray 50 x 38 x 15 cm. (1)

ROBERT THOMPSON OF KILBURN - MOUSEMAN MONKS CHAIR a circa 1920s/1930s oak Monk's armchair with curved back and shaped arms, supported on octagonal legs with x framed stretcher and with a leather seat. The back panel carved with a Latin motto Per Crucem Salus (Salvation through the Cross), and with a hand holding a cross. The top rail carved with a Fish and Rosette, and the sides carved Yorkshire Roses. Carved Mouse Signature. 80cms high *This chair was purchased secondhand from Austin's of Peckham, London, in the early 1950s by the vendors parents.

A good early Victorian rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid sewing box of large sarcophagus form, the floral decorated hinged lid enclosing a fitted interior with lift-out tray set with various padded lids, cotton reels, small jars and accoutrements with further sewing related items to the base, overall with lobed turned handles and lobed feet with further floral inlay to the front panel, height 22.5cm, width 37.5cm, depth 27cm. CONDITION REPORT: A few tiny losses to the mother of pearl detail on the top, to the front right of the hinged lid there are two small patch repairs, one approx 3cm x 1cm, one 1cm, 0.5cm, the interior has various fitted related items as detailed, the front panel has one tiny area of loss to the right hand side, there is a split to the base but overall a lovely example.
A Coalport hand painted and printed cabinet plate centred with a view of 'Kilchurn Castle' by Perry, with a blue and white rose printed gilt heightened border, diameter 23cm, printed marks, titled and inscribed X2902, a maroon ground square sectioned dish with central painted vignette depicting landscape view inscribed 'Chatsworth, Derbyshire, The Seat of The Duke of Devonshire', width 23cm, and a pink ground bordered cabinet plate inscribed 'Alnwick Abbey, Northumberland', diameter 24cm (3). CONDITION REPORT: Kilchurn: dirty but has light rubbing to the gilding and scratches. Alnwick: scratches and heavy wear to the pink border, rubbing to the gilding especially around the painted central panel which is rather crude and probably on a transfer base, very dirty. Chatsworth: crack running right through the base from foot rim to foot rim, also has a 1cm x 8mm rim chip to the back of the rim, a 2cm x 1cm rim chip to the back and three further small rim chips to the back, surface scratches throughout and rubbing to the gilding.
A late George III oak mahogany crossbanded and inlaid candle box, the studded leather hinge above oval inlaid front panel with drawer to base, height 42cm. CONDITION REPORT: The leather hinge is a replacement, a few surface scratches, top right and top left corners of crossbanding are replaced. There is a vertical spliced section up the right and left hand side. General surface wear.
A late George III oak and mahogany crossbanded candle box, the double arched back plate above hinged lid with lozenge shaped panel to the front, height 26cm, width 38cm. CONDITION REPORT: The back upper section panel where is attaches to the wall is a replacement. Staining to the top. A repair to the veneer from the crossbanding on the top. Surface scratches throughout. Also small splits where the pins join the carcass together.
Five Coalport floral decorated gilt heightened cabinet plates with dark blue borders, each approx 24cm (5). CONDITION REPORT: Plate with four cream gilt heightened swirls emanating from the quatrefoil shaped central panel has extensive restoration. The plate depicting two large roses with a small bud in between has two very fine 1.5cm hairline cracks emanating from the rim. The other three are OK. All five have surface wear and light rubbing to the gilding.
A late George III mahogany candle box with shaped back plate and similarly decorated front slide, height 43cm, and a small 19th century mahogany and inlaid salt box with arched back plate and simple hinged lid, height 22.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Two splits to the front section of the candle box, some small holes to the back plate, small old repair front lower left and front upper left where the side moulding attaches to the main body of the box. The small example has an unsightly square panel of mahogany set just beneath the ring loop handle, a brass pin has been later applied to stop the lid touching the back plate. Split to the lid, slightly loose as well with a few old repairs and flecks to the veneer.
TJ & J MAYER OF LONGPORT; a large hand painted named jug of hexagonal form, inscribed 'The Oak Inn Rushton By N Buxton', and with elaborate mark to the base 'Manufactured for GF Filley, St Louis Mo', within a scroll, height 25cm.The Royal Oak public house in Rushton Spencer is still running today. CONDITION REPORT: Some rubbing to the gilding, crazing and surface scratches, heavier rubbing to the gilding on the handle. There is a 6cm hairline crack running through the body of the jug just to the right hand side of the lower portion of the handle on the side panel with purple floral sprays. A very small fine hairline crack to the foot rim, presumably in manufacture.
A Victorian rosewood tea board with central glazed needlework floral decorated panel, moulded frame and four squat turned feet, 33.5 x 33.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: A few small knocks to the moulding and surface scratches as expected. A few signs of woodworm to the central underside panel which appears to be pine or beech.
A Coalport 'Jewelled' landscape decorated gilt heightened tazza with scallop moulded dark blue border set with four oval landscape panels, a further landscape to the centre and with two additional landscapes to the shaped foot, printed marks, also X574,14-22, diameter 24cm, also a Coalport oval bowl, hand painted with a central scene 'Loch Lomond', with scallop moulded handles and detailed gilt heightening, printed marks, inscribed X2289, length 31.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Tazza: surface scratches to the central white panel including a 1.5cm example just to the left of the painted panel, otherwise light rubbing to the gilding and some crazing. Shallow bowl: light surface wear and light rubbing to the gilding.
A late 19th century gilt metal and pietra dura hardstone set trinket box of rounded square form, the lid decorated with two flower heads with silk lined interior and four further floral decorated panels to the main body on turned feet, height 5.75cm, width 6.75cm, depth 6.75cm. CONDITION REPORT: Panel slightly loose but in good order. Would require a clean. Brass work is tarnished in parts. The base silk work is missing in some sections.
A Georg Jensen "Acorn pattern" silver gilt bar brooch, No.216B, c.1940's, having openwork central panel fashioned as a stylised cross hatched acorn with pair of leaves and scrolls below, verso impressed GJ in square logo, "216B", and "925 Sterling Denmark" width approx. 7cm, in good condition.
A Victorian yellow metal, jet and pearl mourning stick pin, the finial of concentric stepped navette form, with central yellow metal star set single pearl to jet panel and with beaded border decoration, the gently convex verso with braided hair under oval glass, engraved to border details and date 1878, (yellow metal assessed as gold 18ct.), height 7.7cm, (gross weight 4.5g), in original fitted case.
