AN EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD IVORY, GOLD LACQUER AND SHIBAYAMA TABLE SCREEN, the gold lacquer panels onlaid with mother of pearl and depicting two cranes beside a cherry tree as well as other birds and native flora, the reverse with black lacquer and fine gold work depicting flora and birds with subtle ripples of water, the panels inset within ivory frames and embellished with silver mounts and hinges, with a mother of pearl seal tablet to the lower left of one panel, fully open measuring 27.5cm x 30cm.

A South East Asian embossed metal temple panel, silvered and gilt, depicting a temple courtyard within a two tier complex border, framed and glazed, 32cm x 28cm, together with two Tibetan carved wood window frames, 19th/20th century, of simple mitred construction, the first with a dentil cornice and a fretwork window panel, 102cm wide x 60cm high, the second with channel and petal moulded frame around a central fretwork window panel, 68cm x 58cm and a Tibetan carved and fretted window frame, of simple joined construction, the window with carved fretwork panel, 84cm sq., together with a carved triple window, with stepped cornice above three windows with shutters between multiple pilasters, all vigorously carved with stylised flowers, foliage and dragons, 138cm wide x 50cm high.
A George III inlaid mahogany painted dial longcase clock, Walter Walson of Altrincham, the hood with swan neck pediment and reeded square-section columns, the shaped and boxwood strung trunk door flanked by reeded pilasters, the canted base box with boxwood strung panel, the 14" painted dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, decorated with two exotic birds and spandrels of fruits and flowers, the four-pillar eight-day movement striking on a bell, with two weights and pendulum, 55.5cm wide x 27cm deep x 209cm high.
A George III inlaid oak and mahogany painted dial longcase clock, by Inigo Smith of Wrexham, the hood with swan-neck pediment and door flanked by fluted full columns, the trunk with shaped cross-banded door flanked by fluted quarter column pilasters, the base box with cross-banded panel, the 13" dial having black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, painted with two castle vignettes and flower spandrels, the four-pillar eight-day movement striking on a bell, with pendulum and two weights, 51cm wide x 23cm deep x 204cm high.Pendulum stem has snapped and has no suspension spring, consequently the clock has not been seen to run or tested for timekeeping. Movement appears in good order and does wind and strike, seconds and calendar advance correctly. Dial appears good with typical faint cracklure throughout and some wear/chipping to the paint on the outer edges. Hood lacking central finial, probably originally brass. Base box lacking foot or feet. Case overall fair to good with some cosmetic marks consistent with age and use. Left hand cornice beneath hood has a small loss to the front corner and there is a small chip to the top of the trunk door. A latch has been added to keep the trunk door closed. There is no door key or winder with this clock.
A Victorian rosewood work box, of sarcophagus form, the top with gadrooned panel inset with a mother-of-pearl lozenge, opening to a lined interior with fitted lift-out tray, 25cm wide, together with a Victorian rosewood writing slope, inlaid with mother-of-pearl flowers and foliage within brass tramlines, lacking interior, 41cm wide. (2)Work box: small loss to gadrooning on base. Minor cosmetic marks and signs of age and use to exterior. Interior fair with some marks, wear and signs of age and use.Writing slope: Distressed overall, losses to inlay, interior completely lacking.
A late Regency, mahogany pedestal, breakfast table, the drop-flap reeded rectangular top, above an end frieze drawer, opposed by another, each flanked on each side by an inset, ebony beaded panel, above a gun barrel support with a reeded quadruped base with brass caps and castors, extended, 112cm wide (closed 59cm) x 99cm deep x 70cm highOk. Chips, dents and scratches consistent with age and use.
