Anglo Indian Antique Profusely Carved Teak Davenport with top superstructure with drawers, decorated with peacocks amongst exotic foliage. Set of drawers with brass handles fitted behind a cupboard panel, terminating on tiger feet. Superbly carved throughout. Circa 1830/40s. There is colour variation to the blue on the centre field, tassles have been cut - see images for further detail. Signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use though no serious damage. Colours appear good, overall condition visually is good though upon close inspection there is sign of a possible repair to small section by 's' motif to one end - see images and possible repair visible only from underside to one area of the border - see images.

A carved painted and gilded walnut settle in the 17th Century Spanish taste the back with shield and twin headed eagle surmount depicting a basket, castle, cross and monkey chevrons, etc. over two panels carved with spread eagle and crossed clubs with crown the main central panel depicting a battle scene inscribed "Gracia Plena" over an embossed leather covered twin panelled seat, the front panels decorated with two mask medallions flanked by heavy open carved arms over figural decorated corners raised on scroll feet (by repute removed from a Spanish Cathedral) Size approx. 220cm high x 150cm wide
A large oak framed breakfront bookcase cabinet in the Arts and Crafts taste with six glazed and barred doors enclosing shelving over four glazed and barred and two fielded panelled doors on a plinth base, 382 cm wide x 268 cm high CONDITION REPORTS This piece is modern bespoke made for the vendor's home and has therefore not been adapted or cut. All finials are poresent though three are broken requiring re-attaching. The upper frieze has six various vertical splits - see images for detail. The shleves are in pine and fixed, there are no locks to the doors, central cupboards shelves are 27.5cm deep. First outer pair of cabinet doors shelves are 23cm deep, outside doors enclose shelves 27.5cm deep, lower central cupboard doors 31.5cm deep flanked by two fielded panel doors 27cm deep. Outer glazed cabinets 31cm deep. One piece of moulding top left of central cupboard doors missing, the piece splits in to three sections, the cornice, the centre glazed section and the base and plinths. Rear left side has two white paint marks - see image. Slight damage to the moulding top left back corner - see image. Otherwise the piece has wear and tear conducive with a certain amount of age and use prior to being removed from the house and barn stored until sale. Whilst the top cornice with the urn finials is presently fixed it could be removed at which point the height of the bookcase would be 242cm - see images for further detail
A Victorian mahogany housekeeper's cupboard three arch panel doors enclosing shelving over two four front compartments one with fitted interior over three drawers and three cupboard doors Size approx. 258cm high x 29cm wide x 140cm long CONDITION REPORTS The piece disassembles in to two sections, the cupboard section adn the base with drawers and cupboards. The upper section left cupboard has four fixed shleves 27cm deep, centre door as dummy, right hand door shelves again 27cm deep but follow through behind the dummy door. The secretaire drawers are basically fitted over three small drawers and a central dummy panel flanked by two cupboard doors again 27cm deep.
An 18th Century long case clock the eight day movement with brass arch dial and silver chapter ring with Arabic and Roman numerals enclosing a subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture surmounted by a silvered medallion inscribed "Stepn Mears Hempnall" Size approx. 232cm high x 49cm wide CONDITION REPORTS The case has had damage and repair and may possibly be associated to the movement. The brass arch dial has unusual holes behind the silvered medallion. The spandresl, whilst intrictae, are not particularly well finished again suggesting that they may be later additions. The case has several splits, discolouration around the door and escutcheon, the base has creasing the veneers on the front panel and sides - see images for further detail. The weights and pendulum are present however the pendulum is missing the hooks/nodules. There is no key. Where in the condition report it is indicated "the pendulum is missing, the hooks/nodules" this should read the pendulum suspension pins are missing.
