A Fletcher's patent mahogany timepiece, retailed by Blakey Emmott & Co, Halifax, England, circa 1870, side glazed panels, hinged glazed front door, 6-inch painted dial with Roman numerals, dial marked Fletcher's patent and signed by the retailer, single fusee movement, 69cm high01.08.17, Case slightly faded in parts, left hand side glass panel is chipped and a piece of glass is missing to the bottom corner, case with small scratches and small stain marks in places, dial is discoloured and the paint is lacking in parts, movement is dirty and needs cleaning, with pendulum.
