English School, 19th Century, A grey and a bay outside a stable, indistinctly signed with a monogram lower left, oil on board, 29 x 39 cm Oil on panel. There is a hairline crack in the panel running horizontally across the painting, but overall the panel is stable. The paint layer is in a good condition. The varnish is thick and glossy, it has discoloured with age. There are slight cracks to the frame but overall it is in a good condition.
A Turkish design carpet with central red ground panel set with three rows of medallions within a floral decorated border, bearing label inscribed 'A Gardner & Son, Glasgow', 330 x 290cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are two 20cm cuts to one side, faded noticeably to one half, general wear throughout.

(5 7/8 x 8 in), some craquelure and surface dirt, unframed, [early to mid-19th century]; together with a group of three further English 19th century pastoral paintings, one on panel indistinctly signed 'J. M[...]', one on board attributed to Samuel Jackson, and another on paper, 260 x 370 mm. (10 1/4 x 14 1/2 in) and smaller, all unframed [19th century] (4).

An Early 19th Century Turkish Yataghan, the 65.5 cm single edge curved steel blade engraved with a band of script and strapwork panel and with a narrow fuller to the back edge, the gilt filigree bolster set with facetted amber beads, the marine ivory eared hilt with coral set back strap, with brass mounted leather scabbard and frog, 87cm. Some black patching and pitting to the blade. Age cracks and chips to the marine ivory grip, Numerous small dents to the brass mounts of the scabbard.
