A 17th century and later oak 'wainscot' armchair, possibly Welsh, the arched serpentine top rail above roundel carved panel, rhomboid below with similar roundel border, 60cm wide, 113.5cm high, 53cm deep. The unusual use of the roundel decorative design is reminiscent of Welsh slate work. A George III yew and satinwood inlaid tea caddy, circa 1790, 11cm high, 11cm wide, 9cm deep, an Edwardian walnut box, top with portrait panel indistinctly signed and dated 1917, 10cm high, 21cm wide, and a Chinese export enamel tea pot and a matched pair of metal candlestick table lamps (5) Condition Report: The yew caddy bears the usual very minor marks, knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use, and some minor warping to rear panel of the veneer. A handful of small chips and losses to satinwood stringing, with more visible old splits and repairs to interior banding. The underside has some looseness to felt covering, underneath which a small gap possibly a split can be discerned - though it is impossible to tell whether this is a damage or part of the construction without removing the fabric. Overall in perfectly presentable condition. Offered with a listing from Cristopher Buck Antiques. The box bears minor marks, knocks, scuffs and fading (including to medallion) overall, as well as some wear to the ebonised corners. A handful of small and shallow surface dents to back and sides.
