A pair of Victorian clear glass lustres: the printie-cut crown tops on panel-cut stems and petal-cut bases, suspending notch-cut lustres (22.5 cm high.) Condition - Both have one chip to the top of the crown rim, one has chip to base. Later stainless steel candle nozzles fitted (but removable). Lustres are closely matched but three or four are probably replacements.

Five pieces:1. a pair of cut and engraved glass covered vases or bonbonnières: probably late 19th century, the bowls with three basal rings, with diamond and printie cutting and engraved floral swags, the conforming cover with slice cut knop, on a solid, star cut foot (19 cm high): 2. a cut glass bonbonnière with strawberry diamond and panel cutting and square base (17 cm high); 3. a pair of late-19th century cut glass rummers with diamond cut band and swags, on square star cut feet (13.7 cm high). (5)Condition:- Pair of bonbonnières: A few tiny frits to edge of flange to covers. Very small chip to top edge of one vase. - Single bonbonnière: Chip to one corner of base. No other faults.- Rummers: One with chip to corner of foot and a few other tiny chips to the edges of the foot. The other with a few tiny frits to the edges of the foot.

Fritting and small chips to plug on stopper.

A WW2 era NSDAP party flag or drape for a podium.Screen printed white circular panel, chain stitched to a red cotton base.Double sided with round panels stitched to both sides.No apparent makers marks or other stamps.Notes: appears to have been cut at both shorter edges, probably to remove it from a larger structure or wall.Interestingly, whomever cut out the white circle has left some of the guide dots to show where to trim the fabric.Approximately 83xm x 70cm.Condition: generally good.Some soiling to the white area, and some other darker (grease or ink?) stain to some of the red cotton.The shorter edges are uneven and frayed in places.General creasing from storage.

A late WW2 / Mid 20th century commemorative plaque to the 7th armoured division (Desert Rats).Oak backing panel with 2 applied brass scrolls for the ‘N.Africa 7th Armoured Division Egypt 1939’ and ‘Germany 1945 El Alamein - Berlin’.To the centre is a good quality vitreous enamel Desert Rats badge.2 mounting holes to the reverse.Plus, 2 WW2 and later publications - one called Bomber Command, and the other called The Tank Journal of the Royal Tank Regiment.Plaque size approximately 25cm x 17cm.3 items.Condition: generally good to the plaque.Some light surface wear to the oak, and some very minor surface scratching to the enamel Desert Rat plaque (no chips or cracks).Both publication are in worn condition, with creased corners and one having a partly missing cover.

A WW2 German military wristwatch by Helios, together with a hand made aluminium cigarette case, fitted with a parachute regiment badge, and other ephemera related to 6298942 Pte Ivan John Belfitt (1919-1990).To include: a Third Reich military issued watch, with black dial,, luminescent numbers and hands, and subsidiary dial.Later replacement expanding strap (the original would have been leather).Chrome plated case, with brass alloy core.Marked ‘Stahl Boden Wasserdicht’ and the serial number ‘D30058H’.Plus, an aluminium scratch made cigarette case, engraved ‘19 Munster 46’ and ‘John Belfitt’ to the front.There is also a clear panel into which is fitted a cloth parachute regiment Pegasus badge (this is riveted from the reverse, and would appear to be unremovable without destroying the case).The the back of the case is an engraved rearing horse atop a cigarette.There are also some letters, a soldiers service and pay book to Pte Belfitt, a WW2 Air Raid booklet, an Airborne Division book, entitled By Air To Battle, plus some WW2 era short scraps of medal ribbons for the France & Germany Star, the Africa Star, the 1939-45 Star, the Air Crew Europe Star, and the Defence Medal.Information supplied by the vendor suggests that Pte Belfitt served at Arnhem during Operation Market Garden (as part of the Airborne Division).The wristwatch was acquired from a German Army Officer as a piece of ‘war booty’. This would explain the cloth badge mounted in the cigarette box, plus the publish book included in the lot.Pte Belfitt’s full medal entitlement is unknown, as are the full details of his service record.Condition: the Helios watch has wear to the plated finish, revealing the brassy base metal.There is also some often seen pitting to the metal.The cigarette box is in good order, with only normal age related and service wear.The book and other ephemera have lots of wear to some pieces, but appear to be intact. Note- movement and functionality untested please request a condition report with specific questions for further info on this lot or alternatively view the watch in person

A scarce early 20th century Cameron Highlanders woolwork picture commemorating the occupying allied forces in China, circa 1908-1909 (as part of the ‘British Legation Guard Peking’.Likely a sweetheart piece, it’s embroidered details depicts the badge of the Cameron Highlanders, along with the flags of the occupying nations.At the centre is a period photograph of the young Private.Interestingly, the panel has the old form of spelling the country of Korea, referring to it as ‘Corean’, which was used prior to Japan’s annexation of the country in 1910.Housed in its original oak frame, with period framers label to the back panel.Image size approximately 34cm x 36.5cm - frame size 47.7cm x 50cm.Condition: generally good.Colours quite fresh to the embroidered flags.The cream base fabric is a little foxed in places and there is some staining at the very top edge, and both the left and right hand sides (this does not affect the main image area).The frame is in good condition.

A selection of German military badges, and other items, many with faults.To include:1.A Germany army (Heer) buckle - marked K.uQ (Klein & Quenzer), and a number. With pivoting bar and two prongs.A little bent in places.2.A War Merit Cross with swords, First Class - marked 3 for Wilhelm Deumer, Ludenscheid. With ‘coke bottle’ pin to the reverse.Securing clasp has become detached, but is still present.3.A Coastal Artillery Badge - faintly marked FLL in relief to the reverse.Gilt wash finish to the wreath and eagle has worn to the high points - retaining clasp has broken away.4. A Close Combat Clasp, silver grade - marked FLL in relief to the reverse.The clasp appears to have been ‘de-nazified’, with the swastika having been ground off. Both the pin and clasp are missing, as is the small square backing panel.5. A Close Combat Clasp, bronze grade - marked FLL in relief to the reverse.The badge appears to be complete and in good condition.6. A WW1 era German / Bavarian 11th infantry division badge - marked Deschler u. Sohn to the reverse.The pin has broken away.7. A WW2 era brass alloy ‘tinnie’ - the pin has broken away, but is present.8.A hand embroidered bullion cap cockade - some loose threads and oxidisation to the bullion.9. A white metal swastika pendant - good condition.10. 3 Third Reich era 10 pfennig coins - good condition.11. A Deutsches Reich stamp - used postally, but good conditoin.13 items.Condition: varies across each piece, and is noted against each item above.

A WW2 era German Bakelite carbide lamp.Predominantly of Bakelite construction, with a metal concave reflector panel to the inside, and 3 glass panels to the sides.Aluminium hanging strap to the reverse side, which is Waffenamt marked.It’s believed that the lamp would of originally had a aluminium panel to over the front glass panel (now absent).The carry handle to the top is hinged and can folded down.Notes: according to information supplied by the vendor, the lamp was found in a tunnel originally occupied by German troops in St Helier, Jersey.The lamp was found decades later and found its way to the occupation museum on the island.It was later acquired by a dealer in the early 1990’s who then sold it on to the vendor.Approximately 28.5cm high (with handle up) x width 11cm x depth 13cm.Condition: generally good.No apparent chips or cracks to the Bakelite.The glass panels are a little dusty, but intact.The steel parts have darkened with age.
