Late seventeenth / early eighteenth century burr walnut secretaire cabinet on chest, the blind panelled front revealing fitted interior with an arrangement of pigeon holes, drawers & central cupboard, the inside of the lid having a leather tooled adjustable writing slope, raised above base with two short & two long drawers, all raised on bun-type feet, 110 x 50.5 x 155cms Condition: front panel of cupboard has splits in an almost H design, dry in places with splits & chippings to rims, top right part of cornice is loose, veneer bubbling & losses throughout, interior drawer configuration again has splits, adjustable writing slope surface is tired & dry with ratched mechanism behind partially broken (there is a key available).

There are sequins missing. The lining has stains^ holes and tears ¦¦white net dress - the fasteners at the back of the dress are missing (only at very top)^ there are areas of yellow staining. Two small holes at front^ some loose threads which may indicate beads missing ¦¦Purple sequin dress - small hole to lace sleeve^ beads missing to the both shoulder areas - front and back^ hand stitched repair to lace modesty panel. Beads missing to fringing at bottom of dress. Small quantity of sequins lacking in some places ¦¦Dress with pink beads - Some slight wear under arms. There is a small hole middle front right above the beaded panel. Small hole in the bit of material that hand at the side of the dress. Some small lines across the material at the front of the dress bodice also a feint white mark upper right ¦¦Sequin tunic - at the shoulders there are splits to the join between the front and back panels. Some small losses and wear to the sequins. Small loss to part of the beadwork towards to the bottom of the dress ¦¦¦¦¦
