There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a minor softening to the high points and the engraving. There are some mostly minor bruises overall, most noticeable to the cover/finial of the tea-caddy. The crest is probably engraved later in the 19th century. The cover of the lamp on the stand is lacking.The hot-water jug, stand and lamp, by Robert Hennell and Samuel Hennell, London, 1805. Fully marked near rim and on rim of stand. A tiny small chip to the top of the bulb shaped glass funnel. Underneath the reservoir where it connects to the brass ferrule there a couple of tiny original cracks at the time of manufacture.

Cranberry bowl with spire lid appears OK. A pair of glass jugs have some scratching and minor marks to surfaces. All very dirty. Single jug decorated with butterfly - the handle and lip are OK, a vertical mark is apparent but it is not a hairline. Character jug - some glaze grazing and discolouration commensurate with age. Copper lustre jugs in reasonable condition but scratches and marks commensurate with age. Biscuit barrel - some of the plate worn away. Pink glass oil lamp chamber stick looks OK. 19th century cornucopia dirty and dusty - larger appears good and does the smaller.

No other major damage noted to the shade. Otherwise in good condition.
