Hand crafted papier mache floor standing lamp this is a one off design of a denim dressed young man with his faithful dog by his side designed and created by Margaret Hickson (Margaret Hickson was a renowned artist, designer and author who's designs were sought after and even purchased and exhibited by the Victoria & Albert Museum London, a more detailed biography regarding her life and achievements is available on request)
Alfred de Breanski Snr (1852-1928) - Pair; A valley in Aberdeenshire and A shallow stream Invernesshire, oil on canvas, signed lower left and right, each further inscribed and titled by the artist verso, 40 x 60cm Condition Report / Extra Information Both in good overall condition. Both with original canvas. Both lightly varnished. UV lamp shows minor areas of touching-in. Aberdeenshire - minor crazing lower right, small area of repair to canvas between sheep lower right and paint loss in associated area. Inverness - paint good and stable, minor star crack to paint near cattle, fine craquelure lower left.
Late 18th century Italian school - Classical harbour scene, oil on canvas, 31 x 40cm Condition Report / Extra Information Fully restored. Varnished. UV lamp shows significant overpainting in areas all over, most noticeable to extremities and lower left corner. Paint now good and stable but with craquelure.
A pair of Moorcroft MacIntyre glazed pottery twin handled vases, in the 18th century pattern, each with finely stylised tube-lined floral decoration, the borders heightened in gilt, printed MacIntyre Burslem England backstamp, and further green painted signature W. Moorcroft verso, h.25cm Condition Report / Extra Information No apparent signs of restoration (tested under UV lamp). Both finely crazed throughout. Some minor handling wear to gilt areas. Otherwise appear good and original.
A first period Worcester bachelors teapot and cover, of bullet shape, having fluted body, underglaze blue painted with opposing reserves of chinoisserie landscapes within floral decorated borders, unmarked (cover heavily restored), h.11.5cm Condition Report / Extra Information Cover with major restoration and significant discolouration. Spout with restored tip which shows under UV lamp. Some discolouration.
A later 20th Century Okra glass lamp shade of spherical form decorated with an iridescent swirled line over a pearlised opal ground, mounted to a reproduction cast pewter lamp base in the Art Nouveau taste modelled as a female figure in long flowing gown raised to a fluted square base, height 47cm.
