An Edwardian green glass oil lamp, the fluted shade etched with flowerheads and leafy branches, the burner marked British Made, above fluted green reservoir, on pierced tapering cooper coloured base cast with medallions and swags, 57cm high Condition Report: There is a very small oval-shaped surface crack (to frosted ground, lower part of shade) and this may be the remnants of a burst air bubble, there is a surface scratch that runs diagonally across part of the shade, the rims with some typical and very minor chipping/roughness. The green shade has a pleasing iridescence when light shines through it. Some surface wear to brass/gilt finish to metal burner, the British Made dials are stiff and partially functioning. Some wear to base.
A late 19th century brass oil lamp, the urn shaped body with embossed foliate decoration, raised upon unusual tripod lion paw base with female busts mounted to each, with glass shade and funnel, 70cm high Condition Report: There is some minor chipping to the opaque glass shade rims, some wear and deterioation to brass surface overall, more noticeable to shoulder and base. One switch lacking to burner, one still present which functions. The key at the side of the burner also functions (this raises up the pierced gallery supporting the chimney). Some wear overall. Resevoir is ok. Both clips on collar are present.
