A reproduction ‘Cambrian Railways’ plate. Various small enamelled plates. Printers plates for making tickets, plus approx 30 railway uniform buttons-1 LBSCR, 6 SR, a number of LMS and a small number of BR. Also a small number of uniform and other miscellaneous badges, tickets, luggage labels, post cards and other small items. QGC-GC some age wear. Sample illustrated on Plate. 1

4 old Railway Lamps. A large black painted freight train tail light, featuring a red aspect surrounded by a red painted disc measuring 30cm . The body of the lamp stands 50cm to top of handle and is rectangular in shape, with a mounting bracket to the rear. Together with 3 other smaller black painted hand lamps, 2 identical examples with plain tops and the other with fluted top. All complete with reflectors and lens. GC for age, they have been repainted at some time. Sample illustrated on Plate. 1

NER wall mounted Station Platform Lamp with tablet GREENHEAD. Ex NER station just west of Haltwhistle on the Carlisle to Newcastle route. Closed in January 1967. A lovely, copper lamp in excellent condition throughout.

NER Station Platform Lamp with tablet BOLTON PERCY. Ex NER station between Church Fenton and York, closed September 1965. A nicely restored lamp.

Lot 63

NER Station Platform Lamp with tablet ELLERBY. Ex NER station, actually the second, opened in March 1864 as Marton but it was renamed Burton Constable in August of the same year. Not to be confused with confused with Constable Burton in North Yorkshire, the name was changed again, at the start of 1922, to Ellerby. Closed to goods in November 1963 and to passengers in October 1964. A nicely restored lamp.

Lot 128

NER Station Platform Lamp with tablet SIGGLESTHORNE. Ex NER station on the Hull to Hornsea line, opened in March 1864, and was originally named Hatfield. To avoid confusion with Hatfield on the East Coast Main Line it was renamed to Sigglesthorne in October 1874. Closed in October 1964. A nicely restored lamp.
