A Japanese bronze elephant group lamp base, early 20th century, modelled as a boy riding an elephant whilst holding a basket on his head, incised two character signature to elephant`s belly, on a carved hardwood base, with original holes to base, leg of elephant and inside of basket for electric cable, 39.5cm high, 39.5cm long.
