A fine Victorian silver and parcel gilt table centre piece by Elkington & Co., Birmingham 1863, the 11in. clear and ruby cut glass dish with serrated rim above a central band of cut diamonds with ruby coloured hexagonal centres, enclosed by circle cut borders and above a star but base, supported upon an elegant Pompeian style silver and parcel gilt pedestal, the circular dish deposit with beaded rim on three supports above a tapering ovoid stem and circular foot bearing three crown pediments and twelve anthemion pendants to underside, on tripod supports with guilloche engraving to scroll rosette feet and gilt scroll brackets, on an anthemion decorated stepped circular base with scroll aprons supported on three gilt lion paw feet, impressed 'Elkington 753' with registration diamond to underside interior, 18in (45.7cm.) high, on matched Elkington shaped trefoil mirrored base, Frederick Elkington, Birmingham 1875, with trefoil husk border encompassing mirror plate, anthemion decoration and cartouches to parcel gilt exterior, three raised feet to mahogany underside, 12¼in. (31.2cm.) diameter. (3) * Condition: Base: Small silvering split and clouded patch to edge of mirror, plus one other dark line to silvering nearby. Marks good. No damage to silver. Minor rubbing to gilding to edges. Main section: Good, with no damage or repairs to silver. Minor wear to gilding to edges and raised detail. Circular hole to underside of urn beneath dish mount - possibly from earlier use as a lamp? Glass dish: Very good, with no damage.
An Elizabeth II silver and cut glass storm lamp, B. S and Son, Birmingham 1971, glass tulip form shade etched with floral and foliate decoration, into a perforated urn form candle deposit, on rose knopped stem above a flared and stepped pedestal base, 11¾in. (28.7cm.) high. * Condition: Clear marks. Very good condition overall - no damage to glass shade.
A small collection of 19th century Derby porcelain, to include an Imari scallop form dish, incised Derby to base with cobalt crown cipher, 9½in. (24.2cm.) long; a pair of Stevenson and Hancock miniature ovoid form vases, gilt scroll handles, applied floral garland decoration, painted purple crown and swords to undersides, 4in. (10.2cm.) high; two Stevenson and Hancock cauldron form vases, pink rose decoration, on three gilt conical supports, 3in. (7.6cm.) high; and an unusual Stevenson and Hancock ink stand, in the form of an oil lamp, with swan neck handle, applied floral and foliate sprigs, 4½in. (11.5cm.) high. (6)
A 19th century Chinese blue and white porcelain moonflask, cylindrical neck with prunus blossom and trefoil pendant bands, the body with convex front and back mountain and lakeside pictorials within circular reserves, on branching prunus ground, twin dragon handles, on lightly flared oval foot with diaper and trefoil pendant decoration, 12in. (30.5cm.) high. * Condition: Was used as a lamp but not drilled or altered. Cork fitting currently inside neck which we have had difficulty removing. Good condition, with no damage.
