With two bulb sockets and pull switches, H56.5 cm Condition Report: we have not tried it for working but would recommend it is re-wired anyway/, especially as it has an old fabric covered lead and a Bakelite 2 pin plug.looks like carved wood base but it is actually a gilded cast metallic base, it looks like spelter. There old dust marks on it bur no shade or nut to top however no cracks, chips or repairsUnder UV I can see very light craqueleur I am particularly happy with the age of this piece
An adjustable standard lamp with a 19th century cast iron base. Photographed height 150cm. Condition Report: the telescopic section has been removed, a brass section at 42 cm high has replaced it and the threaded section work s perfectly. Chinese Dragon floor lamp : An early/mid-20th century rosewood carved standard lamp. Of dragon form with damask silk hexagonal shaped pendant shade with tassel, stood on a circular base supported by four turned tapering feet, 180 cm H Condition Report: we have not tested it as we always recommend that these are rewired .The feet are newer and wrong , you can see where the old feet were beforeOne side was damaged and re-glued (partially) some time ago.The column seems to be without fault how ever the dragon is all in place but has been re-glued ( not professionally) but it is ok. The silk on the shade is a tad tired in one place ( it shows age and is very livable with) but it has a halogen bulb in it, so it has been used recently
