Pifco - two vintage circa 1960s Pifco cycle lamps, each presented in original box and packaging. The lot comprising a Safety Cycle Rear Lamp To B.S. 3648 No. 1215 in chrome finish, and a Giant Head Cycle Lamp with vizor and tell-tale eye, No. 1141, chrome finish. Larger of the two measures approx. 10cm tall.
GWR & BR(E) - two late 19th - early 20th century wall mounted lamps. The lot comprising a Gothic style Great Western Railway wall mounting candle sconce carriage lamp complete with cylindrical glass shade & copper GWR plate; and a BRER British Railway Eastern Region black painted signal lamp with handle & wall mount, complete with three colour shades internally being red, green & clear (red & green complete, clear with a crack running through). Tallest measures approx. 37cm tall.
Powell & Hanmer Ltd. - an early 20th century motor car headlight lamp. The lamp with brass handle & manufacturer's plaque, stoneware wick holder internally, twin bevelled glass plates to either side and a central circular glass shade in chrome mount (crack of approx. 1.5"). Measures approx. 23cm tall.
A bronze vase form table lamp - early 20th century, dark brown patination, the parcel gilt flared, foliate neck over an ovoid body decorated in high relief with Bacchus masks joined by swags of fruits and flowers, on a pierced circular foot, possibly originally on a larger base, 37cm high plus fittings, requires rewiring prior to use.
A pair of Oriental red earthenware vases - 20th century, ovoid form with moulded decoration of dragons amidst clouds and moulded rope and ring handles, the rim with Greek key decoration, 33cm high; together with a decorative Chinese-style electric table lamp and shade (requires rewiring). (3)
LNER platform lamp YARMOUTH SOUTH TOWN from the Great Eastern Railway terminus station. Cast aluminium frame with perspex panels, measures 24in x 10in x 10in. In excellent restored condition with one minor chip to a panel. It has been professionally wired and fitted with a LED light panel, sold without a plug as it hasn't been PAT tested.
Single Aspect hand lamp brass plated JONES & FOSTER LATE WILLIAM INIGO JONES & SON 128 & 129 HENEAGE STREET BIRMINGHAM. In good condition with no visible company markings, reservoir missing but reflector and slide present. The lamp was found in the Barmouth area so could originate from one of the pre grouping Welsh constituent companies. Jones & Foster operated at the above address from 1880 to 1910
