Large pair George III silver candlesticks, Sheffield 1817. 31.5cm high x 14 cm wide at base. Both sticks have clear hallmarks, and reasonable makers marks WF & Co ? or similar, please examine photos online. Not in good condition - 1 stick has lead solder repair about 7cm from ground. Both removable sconces are Sheffield plate replacements. Both these loaded sticks have original wooden bases, one base (now in two pieces) drilled twice presumably to wire as a lamp, most of loading removed on this stick. Both sticks have several areas where the silver has been worn through to holes due to excessive polishing on each base section. These are poorly candlesticks, but nevertheless, large George III decorative silver pieces.
