Railways - An original vintage LMS London. Midland & Scotland railway handlamp / lantern. Three aspect lamp, with original early-type slatted red and blue glass lenses (the third one clear, with no glass). Complete, including the internal burner. Embossed ' LMS ' to side. Later painted black. ID plate to side affixed for ' 4E671'. Measures approx; 30cm tall.
A Kutani Porcelain Vase, circa 1900, of baluster form with birds' mask handles, typically painted in orange and gilt with birds amongst foliage and figures in landscape in panels on a brocade ground, 37cm high, converted to a lamp base. Drilled for electricity in the centre of the underside now covered by the mount. Some typical minor wear to surface decoration.

Two Victorian oil lamps, with pottery resevoirs; small glass oil lamp and a vase. Together with blue ribbed pottery lamp base (cracked) (5)Condition report: Scratches and marking throughout consistenet with age and use. Yellow/red vase has rough edges to base with chipping to glass on the extremities. The small green oil reserve has a crack running in the inside of the reserve, with a collection of dust round the top near the metal connection. The two Victorian oil lamps have rubbing to the paint on the pottery reserves, with slight cracking to the glaze. Slight chipping to the glass on the red/clear top.
