Some small scratches to the glaze. Crazing to the glaze. General signs of wear and tear. Shade is associated, and has been painted in a similar design.

New Bond Street, London", the brass filler cap marked "JAS Benson", the copper body raised on three brass legs, 30.5 cm high not including funnel CONDITION REPORTS The burner is marked Hinkins & Sons Patent. The winder is marked Benson & Co Bond Street London. There are signs of rubbing throughout and wear. The main body has one or two small knocks. Appears to be in used but sound condition.

The crack is high in the reservoir so as long as it is not filled above 80-90% mark it should be fine. The crack does not appear to leak.
