A Victorian Silver Corinthian Column Candlestick, fitted for electricity, Sheffield, 1899Fully marked on base. There is so me wear to the marks, though in general each is still legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the beaded which has some small holes. There is some pitting to the surface. One side has been drilled to accommodate the wire. The electics have not been tested and the lamp is being sold as decorative only. 26.4cm high to top of candlestick, 33.8cm high to top of electrical fitting.
