Lot 636
A rouge marble and bronze mounted table lamp, with pierced gallery on a bulbous marble body, mounted with gilt bronze rams masks and supported on three hoof feet with foliate decoration in turn above a triform marble base, fitted for electricity. Height excluding fittings 45.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This is potentially a very good item. The marble body appears to be free from chips, cracks and any such flaws. The triform marble base has a chip to one upper corner, the corner beneath it; there are further small corner chips to the bottom corners on three further corners. However these chips in my opinion are not detrimental. The bronze mounts are devoid of the majority of their gilding but the castings are in my opinion nice and crisp. There are no visible signs of repair or restoration to any of the legs.
Lot 82
A pair of Chinese Peking style glass vases, 20th century, decorated in relief with blossoming prunus and peony, on wood stands. Overall height 18 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both vases are engraved by hand to the underside china. Both rims look to have been ground down to a uniform height (this may have been done to accommodate either a mount or an oil lamp fitting, but there are no scratches or chips). Both vases appear to be in good order with no obvious chips or cracks. One wooden stand has a chip between the feet and on the same stand the tips of the feet are chipped, the other stand appears to be in good order.

A Continental porcelain oil lamp base, circa 1880, modelled as a long eared owl gripping a twig on rockwork base and with inset glass eyes, possibly by Ernst Bohne & Sohne. Height 34.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There are no signs of drilling for electrical conversion, the hole in the underside is to let the air escape whilst being fired. The very tip and slightly behind its left ear has been restored but not overpainted. The gilding to the beak is 30% intact. The gilding on the claws is 50% intact. There are no further obvious faults.

Also a cream and amber glass ceiling shade with ruby tone cabouchon decoration. Very good condition.
