Further part marked inside cover, on stand, on lamp and on lamp cover. The marks are in general clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The handle is possibly replaced.

Ltd., London each piece tapering oval, the sides chased with foliage and flowers below a pierced and foliage, flower and rocaille cast border, comprising a kettle, stand and lamp; a teapot; a hot-water jug, each with ebonised handle and finial a tea-caddy; two cream-jugs of differing size and a sugar-bowlthe kettle, stand and lamp 35cm high, total gross weight 117oz 19dwt, 3,668gr (7)Each piece marked as expected. Some piece stamped with retailers name. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some bruises to the cartouches, they have possibly been erased. There are some cracks to the wood finials. The finial on the hot-water jug is differing and possibly replaced. The finial on the kettle is lacking the spacer. An Edward VII Silver and Cut-Glass Oil-Lamp, by Hawksworth, Eyre and Co. Ltd., Sheffield, 1903 on square stepped case with gadrooned border and further stamped with vases connected by drapery swags, the fluted stem terminating in a Corinthian capital, the cut-glass font with silver plate mounts, stamped 'No. 1 Hinks Safety', supporting the tapering clear glass and globular frosted glass globular shades, filled74.5cm high including shadeFully marked on base. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear consistent with age and use. The font is in generally good condition with only some minor chips. The mounts with some discolouration and seeming to function correctly.
London & North Western Railway copper Ships Oil Lamp stamped in the top 1st CLASS PASSENGERS L&NW. Complete with original bevelled glass and brass reservoir. Burner is brass plated William McGeoch & Co Ltd Makers Glasgow Birmingham and London. In very good condition and certainly a rare survivor, possibly used on the LNWR Paddle Steamer on the Holyhead to Dun Loaghaire route.
Great Western Railway enamel station Lamp Tablet MARLBOROUGH from the former MSJWR station between Savernake and Swindon Town. Flanged at the top, in very good condition with a couple of small chip repairs at the top. Measures 33in x 6.25in. Note the vendor acquired this upon closure of the line and was over painted in Western Region chocolate and cream Marlborough Low Level.
