GWR etched glass station platform lamp glass ST IVES. In good condition with a clean break which has been bonded with special glass glue. Measures 15.5in x 3in. Some of these West Cornish lamp tablets were removed at the commencement of WW2 and re discovered in the late 1970s at Camborne Station by the late Bill Carne.

Lot 15

GWR pre grouping 3 aspect copper top Hand Lamp. Complete with all colour filters and etched GWR into front glass (chipped). The lamp is the rarer version with a brass reducing cone. Fitted with GWR Reservoir and BR burner with brass oval number plate 18254. The case appears unmarked.
