I have had a look at the lot for you and there are not really any dints or marks to speak of on the base. There are some smaller bruises to the font but these are not terribly obvious. A Victorian Silver Kettle, Stand and Lamp, by William Gibson and John Lawrence Langman, London, 1898, Retailed by Goldsmiths Company, 112 Regents Street, London tapering oval and with part-ebonised overhead handle and finial, on conforming stand with reeded paw feet, with central lamp29.5cm high, gross weight 41oz 14dwt, 1,296grFully marked near rim of kettle, under stand and lamp. The lamp further part marked on top. The marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a repair to the wood finial. The surface is somewhat bright.
An Edward VII Silver Kettle, Stand and Lamp, by Walter and Charles Sissons, London, 1905 in the Art Noveau style, the kettle inverted pear-shaped and with foliage-tied trailing reeded decoration, each side with a cartouche, one engraved with initials, with overhead part-ebonised wood handle and hinged cover, on conforming stand with three legs and a central burner30cm high, gross weight 36oz 10dwt, 1,135grFully marked with silver marks on shoulder of kettle and under burner. The cover, finial, stand and pins each further part marked. There is some wear to the marks on the shoulder. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The initials are 'LAB'. There is some loss to the finish on the ebonised handle.

Further part marked inside cover, under lamp and on each fixing pin. The marks are in general clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. Each of the chains which hold the fixing pins is present but both are detached from the rings.

Great Western Railway copper cased marker lamp, as used exclusively within the Seven Tunnel between Wales and England. A single lens either end indicates 1/4 mile from the bottom. Chimney stamped GWR and complete with Copper interior also stamped GWR and is in excellent condition. A rare item.
Great Western Railway Wartime Gantry Lamp. Similar in appearance to a General Purpose Handlamp with curved top and fixed handle but, the front glass has a triangular cowl fitted to direct the light downwards as black-out lamps. The cowl is clearly stamped Gantry No 2 and both sides are stamped GWR in small lettering. Complete with an unmarked reservoir and a BR/WR burner
